If my goal is to only play Starcraft 2 online, do I need to purchase all three games? Does purchasing each one unlock a new race for multiplayer or do we get everything in one box?
I just decided from the anecdotal evidence of 2/3rds of my friends that own Xbox360s got a RRoD that this thing was no good. It has good games and features I'd be interested in but my confidence in their product is shot. I am waiting for the next gen of consoles I guess.
Just seems like they are shooting themselves in the foot by not offering backwards compatibility with the PS2. The PS2 has a huge library and dominated the console market for its generation.
Last thing we need in a game is real world laws of ownership. Griefing, poaching kills, pvp, or whatever gets you subpoenaed because you destroyed someone's property.
Early model Saturns (91-92) got roughly 40 mpg highway and I had one last nearly 250,000 miles with the only repairs being a transmission. They should've just kept making that car.
Too true, I've been picking up Blizzard games on release day since Diablo and I think the only two that met a Christmas rush were WoW and Wrath. I guess rushing a product out for increased sales in the holiday season isn't the greatest tactic.
Class balance issues are rarely related to bugs. Bugs can be exploited to create class balance issues. (Cheat Death giving 99% damage reduction instead of 90% as intended) DK and Ret issues aren't bugs, they're design failings.
It doesn't take that long to specialize in a single class of ship. T2 modules on a T1 battleship is 3-4 months training time. You're really damn competitive with that skill set. There is an upper cap on each class of ship and you can only fly one ship at a time. Just because the older player has 40 million more skill points doesn't mean that they're all impacting his/her skill in their current ship.
I like Eve, but the biggest misconception I see people make when seeing the game is that they think they'll be flying the ship like a sim game and they're not. It turns a lot of people off because they think it is going to be an action game and its more of a strategy game. Jumpgate sounds like it is going to be more of an action/sim game and I think that'll work in its favor.
That's odd I bought HL2 when it first was released on Steam and when I got the Orange Box it let me give one copy of HL2 away to a friend. Is this just something you can't do with Portal?
Not always an option for PC games. I don't trust used PC games unless they're single player only. Someone can easily sell their game and keep their CD-Key. Plus with the new limited install DRM that is going around its hard to tell if that used game is going to be crippled or not.

The high failure rate is just there to boost their consoles sales numbers. Good thing they sell them at a profit.

Duke Nukem Forever to be released Q4 1997.
Did they fix the pathing so that the Infested Terrans acknowledge that they have to destroy the Supply Depots before they can attack the Bunkers?
The EvE Online Linux client disagrees.
I think they can create a bad game, they are smart enough not to release it.
Don't forget James Cameron's Avatar, I think that is due out in December.

Why not get rid of all word processors? Oh wait, people use them to write documents.
Sounds like a rip off of Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey. Does Dante sink Death's battleship?

SOLD!
Excellent, now what should my novelty license plate say to convey that I am driving like an ass for everyone's benefit?
Slashdot scientific method == Tagging everything correlation != causation
I hear if you can clear Metroid in under 2 hours play time there is a secret ending with a naked Samus

Not everyone is an informed consumer. Graphics will pull in impulse buyers.
