hopefully this will solve the problem of decreasing quality of episodes.
in the commentary for season 5 they talk about how an episode of the recent series is 2 minutes shorter (more adverts) than a season 5 episode. this forces them to remove an entire mini-story, which are often the source of many of the funniest moments.
though a movie format causes its own set of problems. I'd prefer they just went back to making longer episodes, but at this point I don't think a movie could makes things much worse so here's hoping for a return to form.
you are talking bollocks. plus you're trying to turn a good feature (live searching) into a negative point.
even if your memory is faster than a computer search, it doesn't mean you can magically open multiple folders faster than you can open a single file as you would if you used spotlight.
I believe the point is that if you give marks for working, you won't benefit much from knowing the two button method anyway since that ill only give you the answer not the method.
I remember in my tests there was always more marks for working than for the answer, and even if the answer was wrong you'd still get marks for correct working, for example if you made a typo at the start but were then consistent.

you're very ignorant.
Star Trek has at least as much philosophy if not more. plus it's a far more focused on how we should live our lives.
Star Trek was the first program to have an interracial kiss and showed a ship full of different races working together.
in Star Wars the hero was an aryan brat, the only black guy was Judas, the baddies had a french accent, all wrapped up with a philosophy about as deep as the lyrics to a Britney Spears song.
there a great big world out there but you're so adamant to make decisions based on your prejudices rather than facts that you're deliberately cutting off your own entertainment options.
why the fuck would anyone decide to reduce their options in this way? it's like you're applying DRM to your *life*, and I'll tell you this: the DRM you're applying is a hell of a lot worse than that Apple puts on iTunes music.
nothing about this changes that fact. this change is about the future. Apple moving to intel in 2 years won't change the performance of PPC chips from years ago. it's called causailty.
the worst thing in the world would be for a Mac to have an "Intel inside" sticker on it, or even on the packaging. but as annoying as their stupid campaign is, would Intel make an exception to their rule for Apple? Apple's design is one of their biggest assets so I can't see them giving in either.
DNA evidence is a terrible area for potential miscarriages of justice. a lot of it isn't so much the technology, but the use of statistics when making an argument. I can't remember the details since it was several years ago but basically the confidence of DNA matching was often massively overstated.
imo, if you ask a question about how a device works and no one can provide you with an answer in a timely, detailed and coherent manner, then the prosecution have automatically failed to provide evidence that is "beyond reasonable doubt" and you should win the case. no doubt this will lead to some criminals being declared innocent (which happens anyway), but the alternative would just be sickening. society should never allow justice to be enforced sloppily.
NEVER accept any measurement that doesn't include error bars.
if a measurement without error bars isn't good enough for a 1st year student's meaningless experiment, why should it be good enough for you and your money and/or criminal record?
yeah you're right. remember MSBlaster? if every one of those people infected by that had used a Mac instead, they'd still have been infected. cos they're all stupid. and viruses can tell stupid users from clever ones. cos they watch you through the monitor. I swear these WINE guys working on emulation are wasting their time. just call your program a 'virus' and it'll work on any platform. so long as the users are stupid enough. I suppose they need to keep working on a solution for us clever people though don't they davmoo? ah well...

sure you didn't mean Scrubs? they had an episode like that, including different cameras, makeup, costumes and a celebrity guest.
>The idea of property has become more intangible.
er, no thanks.
this is about someone who killed someone else. the reason isn't too relevant and certainly doesn't demand redefining property.

jeez, thanks for explaining my joke
>Not to mention trying to figure out where all those holes in security came from and patching them.
that's BS. you didn't see Ford suing its customers that discovered the flaws in their cars and forced fixes did you?
counter argument: Ford's customers paid for something and were then endanged.
counter counter argument: citizens pay taxes to be protected and the government fails at this job when it uses crap systems.
you must be new here.

if you read the actual rumours you'll see they're talking about it being phased in over 12-24 months, so your points are moot.
>Can you say binary incompatability?
... doh!
Can you make a point without phrasing it as a question?

um... do you even understand what a laptop is for? it is NOT just a way to buy a computer all in one go instead of piece by piece.
the millihertz myth is alive and well...
glad the sarcasm didn't go over your (stupid) head.
not seeing much reason to buy this over an 80GB iBook. ymmv.
pretty crap. not worth even $1000 imo.
what's easier; walking around a display and shouting over that noise, or just rotating an image on a 30" LCD?
>All the while, you're creating a tornado within the dome.
damn. if only someone could invent a vacuum...
> Hence the protective sphere - it'll be there to protect you, as much as it is to protect the screen.
actually, at $40,000 I'm guessing it's there to protect the screen MUCH MORE than to protect you.
