    A swedish reporter (from Expressen) did this a few months ago.
    After a while, he ended up meeting one of the people behind the scam.. in amsterdam. For anyone able to read swedish, the article can be found here.

    Actually, there is a little-known workaround to get proper png support in IE.
    While the workaround is a rather interesting hack, it's a shame there's need for one to begin with.

    The hack involves using Behaviors and Direct-X filters. The only drawback is that you can't apply other DX filters on the proper PNGs, but who uses those anyway?

    Of course, some people have gotten HL to run on the hl2 engine afaik. I'm sure it wasn't too hard, so Valve might do something like it as well, and possibly touch up the textures a wee bit..

    I do agree though that google has been behaving less than perfect for a while, but google-watch is just sort of over-the-top for me..

    In all fairness, it probably will end up costing more... until you need support.
    MCSEs (yes, they do know how to fix common issues with MS platforms) are a dime a dozen.
    Can you say the same about support for other platforms?
