Java fast development is marketing. You can achieve the same results in C++ undoubtely. Although, as someone up hinted, Python would be cool. Python integration with C++ is great. And better, is trendy.
Frankly, it sucks. I'm a dovark user for quite some time, and wouldnt mind changing layout if colemak were better.
So, what have I done? Wrote 10 sentenses in english, and 10 sentences in portuguese (I'm brasilian). Long and toughfull ones. After that, I typed all of them in both dvorak and colemak. It did not surprised me that colemak did not kept its promisses.
"Cuts finger movement distance in half. 16 times less same hand row jumping than QWERTY." - It's hard to be worse then Qwerty. My tests proven (to myself) that dovark is still better.
"Most of the typing is done on the strongest and fastest fingers. Low same-finger ratio." - This is half true. You keep allways using the same finger.
"Only 2 keys move between hands. Typing lessons available. The most common shortcuts remain the same." - Remains the same as Qwerty. Totaly different from dvorak.
"Allows to type in over 30 languages and to type special characters." - This is true, but kinda useless. I rate much better my hand crafted shortcuts.
"The punctuation keys which are used often by programmers and sysadmins remain easily accessible." - Kinda the same as dvorak and qwerty.
"Released under the public domain. Doesn't require special hardware." - Both qwerty and dvorak never bothered me in this way.
"Available for all major operating systems. Consistent implementation across platforms." - lol.
I wonder how well is windows XP starter edition is succeeding in asia, but people here would NEVER use such "thing". We cumplain about winndows XP "full" enought already.
Also, there are a thousand projects with the same goal. Even microsoft already presented a proposal, whose, of course, was dumped.
For instarce, there is a proposal of a U$100 laptop. It would be linux running on a risc anchitecture (I think PowerPC (NOOO! Not apple!!)). Cool, huh?
Also, Sergio Amadeu, Brasil chief IT, already apeared here on Slashdot for badmouthing microsoft.
And PS: Please write BraSil. It is as easy to write as BraZil, but it is standart compliant (lol).
We couldnt help as much people we wanted couse they were too many and most of them got away with debian-br-ccd - and it takes a while (I,d say 40 minutes) to get it working. There were also only a few, I believe like 8, network access points.
It was fun to see all those people scared, guarding their computers when we were messing them up!
If you are working with OO, create a singleton adapter called configuration manager.
Configuration options should be decorators.
Managed data, let's say Multiple laguage strings must be in a separate database (or text file, suit yourself) from the system.
Make your code enter in the japanese codebase. This is the only way you are getting support for the rest of the team.
And remember: Japanese is just another language. There is nothing magical in their alphabet - it is just incomprehensible. Japanese people acctualy CAN read what they write.;)
You wrote it in pure C! You are comparing Ocaml with C, not C++! You are just using the C in C++. Try writing your program fully using OO and templates. I dare you.
Another thing: You OCaml code is shity. Im not asking you to tinker with optimisations, but just to use the correct data structures.
It's not fair compare lazy OCaml code to simpleminded C code.
Jam is by far the best make tool I ever used. Its so much simpler then all other makes. Yes its out of the standart, but it works flawlessly, althought kinda unmaintained.
Its more likely to South invade the North. The strong dominates the weak. Specialy this would hapen if North Corea had a huge oil reservatory, like Iraq.

Learn to Draw. There are millions of online courses that teach you to draw, it ill help you tremenduously. Not just in desing but in everything. It helped me !
I heard in TV from a lot of brazilian artists that they are totally fine with downloading mp3. (i'm brazilian)
What they dont like is when someone starts to make pirated CDs to sell. There is particulary Chorao, Charlie Brown vocalist, who said: "I think this is great when someone buy a cd and copy it for his friends."

My 2 cents.
That's why I love python. You doesnt have to worry about the size you low level datatypes are.
I just need to feel safe in the sense data will allways "fit", hehehe.
No one is soooo stupid.

This way you are just waisting the probe. We wouldnt be able to monitor it (assuming we would be able to throw the probe).
Hehe,
I believe that count is wrong.
In http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Florianopolis, where i live, around 15 people were helping there, including me.

Sorry man, but the compiler shoulb de doing that.
Loop unrolling is the _basics_.
You should worry about better design and readability.
Auto-vectorization is a step for GCC 4.0, thought.
In portuguese (remember, people in Brasil do not speak english) neither MS Office has.
I'll add more. Its BAD pseudocode.
Design is not about language, its about paradigm.
Design patterns are universal.

Better look at these:

Yea, sure, and "America" should help them.
As it did with Iraq.
North Corea has to deal with their own problems.
Althought I'd agree with an intervention if it was the greatest reponsible for polution in the world or something alike.
Its more likely to South invade the North.
The strong dominates the weak.
Specialy this would hapen if North Corea had a huge oil reservatory, like Iraq.
Thist is should be modded as "interesting", flamebait or even "funny" would be better
You was the one who misunderstood it.
The restrictions DO apply to China.
Why do you think "third-world countries like China" dont "apply" to Kyoto treaty??
USA has only 4% of world population but emits 25% of all air polution.
Besides, China DOES "apply".
Thats because they WERE civilians!!
That was slaghter. USA troops just avanced trought tows without even military force, killing civilians freely.
That was a crime agains humanity.
What you see in Fox News, mostly, is lie.
