ADF is a good way to scratch all of those originals and/or negatives. If you care anything about your originals I would pay CAREFUL attention to the method that's used to scan.
And FWIW, Mazda uses a 3 or 4 ROTOR engine in their endurance cars.
The RX-8 is the PERFECT segway into the performance hybrid market, and in my opinion, it is the only market that matters to me. I don't want something that looks like it came out of Futurama. The RX-8 is a sexy sports sedan.
In the wake of the "open source movement," so-to-speak, do you feel that open source development has been elevated to an unrealstic level of reverence in lieu of the alternative(s)?
I, for one, believe this is why people who think they know about technology use FireFox -- they've heard about it from the media who've presumably learned about FireFox through open-source advocates, not necessarily those seeking alternatives to Internet Explorer. Do you feel this has significantly hurt Opera's market share?
Thank you for allowing me to close my browser without worrying about what tabs I have open, because they are always there when I open Opera back up:).
They should probably make a provision for this in the Patriot Act, or have they already?
At least that would make its illegitimacy legitimate in the eyes of the law.
"The motion picture industry is working aggressively to take advantage of wide array of digital distribution platforms and to provide consumers a wide array of legitimate options for enjoying movies and television shows.
Hey, way to be about 15 years late. Everyone with a half a brain realizes that Hollywood should have changed their distribution methods when the Internet usage became widespread, instead of *ignoring* the problem.
"One way to look at this issue is through an analogy. At present, when you purchase a car there is computer technology in the car that keeps track of your average speed, but that technology is accepted and is viewed as net value add. However, if that technology were to automatically report the fact that you speed to the authorities then peoples perspective would change. DRM is the same. The technology is a part of a balance that is struck with the consumer."
Ewwwwwwwwwwhaaatttttt? The device doesn't curb your usage of speed; am I the only one that doesn't see how this analogy is supposed to work?
I'm going to step out on a limb and say that this war on piracy is like the war on drugs -- a glorious method of wasting resources. There's nothing you can do to keep people from *acquiring* media however they want; just as you cannot keep drugs out of America.
Actually T-Mobile supports 1800mhz GSM nationwide, so you could conceivably purchase this phone and take it to T-Mobile to get a SIM card. I've been thinking about doing this for the SE w800i...
Piracy is constantly changing forms over the course of time and will always, always, always be around. How can you even BEGIN to prophesize the end of the public domain if you have any sense of history?
It would be fantastic to get a *glimpse* of how Blizzard designed the infrastructure to handle WoW. I was actually thinking a field trip to Blizzard would be a great opportunity for my IT department to get away for a few days.
Anytime I receive connection hickups or difficulties logging in, I immediately try to understand how Blizzard would handle said situation with server redundancy, as well as database redundancy. What's most interesting to me is how a character object is handled from the database perspective, especially considering how our company views business objects.
So, how DO you do it?
BitTorrent maybe the catalyst but it's certainly not the reason the movie got leaked...how about the person who actually ACQUIRED the film in the first place?
I don't know quite how the business model works with Apple and the recording industries; however, how would implementing Ogg NOT save them money? No royalty fees for the encoding technology, etc.
I'm sure this has been discussed before, so if it has, someone kindly remind me. =)

ADF + Scratching = AWFUL digital backup.
http://www.nopistons.com/ This is the only site you need for rotary specific information.

Yeah.
Java doing anything faster than Ruby is about as likely as a garbage-laden dumptruck outrunning a Honda Accord.
'Nuff said.

EXACTLY!

Good lord!
