    I agree. While there can be some discussion whether humanity is ready for autopilot, we definitely aren't ready for half an autopilot.

    I haven't used it recently, but the last time i did, switching from inches to millimeters were an afterthought that made the program crash.

    Have anyone created a mockup or defined such a redesign? I for one have a hard time imagining it being much different.

    Good of them to do something with photos. But what i really wish they did was to turn the circle concept on it's heads.

    Content should be put in circles instead of people. As an example I like to follow Linus Torvalds, but only for Linux related stuff - if they allowed linus to put his Linux content in Linux circles, and Diving stuff in Diving circles, and then allowed me to follow the content i like, then we could talk about managing information.

    Pinterest is splitting it the right way, but are only focused on pictures. I want google+ to do it for content.

    Not as a global concept. .edu and .gov is really .edu.us and .gov.us. Seems like an old cold-war concept to me.

    Most of the worlds educational and military institutions are not allowed to get one of these.

    The sole reason that this went through was because the defendent did not try to shoot down the evidence (by creating his own false screenshots as an argument of their validity etc.)

    This was taken up by the famous "fake screenshot creaters" that popped up after that trial.

    I don't think Broadband Penetration is the only factor to consider here, but for that one, there's actually a very rational explanation.

    None of the nordic countries have had cheap flatrate telephone calls. This means that up untill the implementation of DSL, everyone have been paying by the minute.

    This means that there's no motivation to keep your old telephone modem (As i understand some americans still use). It's both slower and more expensive.

    So, does this amazing flash make it easier for my friend, with his bad eyes, to read the text on screen? Is there some standard shortcut to make the text bigger?

    How about my other friend, who surfs his new mobile phone that supports "web standards", will he enjoy flash as you seem to do?

    From where i've been, they never give "site licenses" to student. Each and every student get their own key.

    If your institution have given out volume keys i'm not at all surprised that MS deactivated it. It probably ended up on a million chinese computers.
