Nah, not really.. I only use a regular keyboard and a laptop keyboard. It took a while to get used to the numbers on the laptop keyboard, but it's 'bout the same for me.
Yeah, I told my dad to get a Dell just because I didn't want to be the one responsible whenever anything goes wrong.
Heh, he kinda got mad at him when I built a computer for my sister. I finally had to tell him my reasoning: I can't drop everything and drive over whenever something goes wrong (My dad's comp has more important uses than my sister's, which is just used for IM'ing, P2P'ing, and accumulating various spyware)

Yeah, I do the same thing. It gets to where I probably couldn't write the password down on paper with a pen just because I only know the motion I do with my fingers on the keyboard.
Basically, the CC is a standard for evaluating a product's security. I think the US government requires a certain level of certification for any computer that handle sensitive data (EAL2 maybe? can't remember).
Soooo, I see the CC simply as a way to get government contracts for your product/software if you have enough money to front on the certification ($200k to $millions). So basically, a product evaluated at some EAL doesn't mean a whole lot IMHO.
Yeah, I kinda scratched my head when I saw a microsoft O/S at EAL4+. I think the CC is more about validating the core of the operating system. As you add more software to a system, it's going to become more vulnerable (*cough* IE, outlook, IIS *cough*).
Uh, I don't know about you, but I remember marble madness being more difficult than super monkey ball. I think I even loaded it up on an emu recently to see if I could play it, but I had trouble getting past the first stage.
I might be speaking too soon though... I just bought super monkey ball the other day, and I'm only on advanced level 21. So far, I love the game. It's difficult but seems much less frustrating than marble madness.

Not only in your opinion, but it is also the author's opinion. RTFA:D
Yeah, I remember during my freshman year in the dorm I'd do "research" in a divx trading irc channel just for internt2.edu connections (heh, a script would only give you +v if you had.edu in your host).
I guess research was the original intent, but obviously not the only use.
I've been following the warppipe forums, and it seems like Chad, one of the devs, is just acting plain paranoid and childish. He's cited some forum posts as "proof" that they stole his code, but when I read the posts, I didn't see the proof.
Well, metroid prime has an ending. EQ doesn't. You think you'd still be playing metroid and skipping work if it didn't end (assuming it could never end ANDb still keep your interest)?:D
I just bought a cube last week or so after reading all of the pro-nintendo propaganda on./:D
I haven't owned a console since the NES.. I'm more of a PC gamer. The $99 price tag did it for me, and I *really* wanted to play metroid prime, but I never could bring myself to drop the money on a console.
I'm very please with the GC so far. It's nice to be able to just sit back in the recliner and play. It seems a bit more relaxing than playing a PC game with the mouse and keyboard (although, those games have their time and place.. bf1942).
So do am I supposed to have gallon drums of vodka, rum, tequila, etc that connect to the 14 pumps? I'm kind of curious how that part works.
Yeah, this will be great. I mean, when you combine two big entities, nothing but good can come out of it.
Just look at AOL Time Warner!
I'm not sure it saves us time...
but it sure has turned us into lazy bastards.
I can't complain though.. I kind of like it.

Probably not.. if I understand correctly, EAL 2 costs about $200-300k, and EAL 4 can cost around $1mil

Well, it IS running ColdFusion.. whatta ya expect?
Everyone can thank me. I told the fox network executives that my kid was dying and his last wish was to have another season of Family Guy.
Or if you are a true master of slashdot (read: loser), you can both RPTFA (read part of the f'ing article) and GAEP in order to get modded up.
Only a few have mastered this, but many try.
So.. you buy a pair at a time and these phones can only talk to each other securely? Or is there some way to exhange keys?

Heh, I saw pics of someone fitting PC components into a NES plastic shell and running NES roms on it. Maybe he did something like that.

I know a lot of people who use linux because they think it's better (along with a healthy hatred of all things MS :-))
However, I think linux has a long way to go before it can replace XP. My biggest concern is simplicity of use and lots of games available.
Hey, give him a break. He did say he works for the government.
"... ergo there are more online games."
:-)
Who wants to bet he wouldn't have said "ergo" if it wasn't for the whole Architect conversation in Maxtrix: Reloaded?

Why is this post offtopic, but the one right below this is +3 when they basically say the same thing? Dang mods.

Looks like the warp pipe guys think the xlink guys stole their alpha source code. I personally think Chad with warp pipe is being a bit paranoid.
