    I have stocks up as little as 15% and as much as 70%. Stock picking still matters. My lower performers (T) do throw off some hefty dividends though. I'm am not wealthy, although I am much more so after this cycle. I am just greedy and willing to take advantage of other people's fear. I knew INTC, and T, and WMT would still be good businesses after the meltdown. If other people lose their long term focus that isn't my problem.

    I drive an F-150 crew cab with extended bad alone to work every morning. Its like driving to work in my living room. It is pretty economical though. It gets 17 mpg in 2 wheel drive. About 14 in 4 wheel. Cheap gas is America's birthright and one of the great blessings of this nations. I'm glad the leftists can't mess that up.

    I bought INTC at 15 after the market melted down. It was a great investment based on yield alone not to mention that they are a chip fab without peer. The P/E ws 8. While grandma liquidated her 401K and bought gold. I bought in at a once in a lifetime level. I figured INTC would counter ARM and I was right, all the way to the bank. Suckas.

    True, it is more expensive. However because Gazprom is no longer in a monopoly position the Ruskies will be far less able to use natgas as a political weapon. Or perhaps you like that Putin feels emboldened to turn off the gas in January. Use your head. LNG provides great leverage against Russia.
