    The thermal response of the atmosphere is about 2 months time, as demostrated by the lag between maximum solar heating and maximum temperature follow the solsti. If the atmosphere were highly sensitive to CO2 emissions the average temperature would be going up. It isn't. Changes in the concentration of CO2 gas, a life-giving gas, are having no descernable effect.
