I remember the good ol' days when the gameboy color could entertain you for days and days without the need to replace (or recharge) your batteries. The battery life alone would make me not buy this.
As it happens, this device has some of the best battery life of any device you're likely to find.
I never use anything more than minimum brightness indoors. You won't need max brightness except in sunlight. Although, my DS lite goes so long between charges (on minimum), I couldn't really say how long it lasts exactly.
They don't make the hardware themselves and the manufacturers of the hardware are already paying Nokia for the technology. If this is actually true...
It may be that Nokia doesn't require royalties from chip manufacturers, but only end product manufacturers. After all, it's the end product manufacturers that are their competitors.
I'm pretty sure you're not using the phone line, but rather the cable that the phone line also happens to use. Ordinary phone lines max out at 56k, because the whole infrastructure of voice calls is designed with that limitation in mind.
Nevermind tourism. I recently had to transfer via Detroit (first time in US) when going from Vancouver to Europe. I had to fill out all customs forms, and have my photo and all fingerprints taken, even before I had left Vancouver, even though I was just transiting.
Unless something spectacular happens, the US is now on my permaban list.
You mean they would actively make it difficult for people to do whatever they want in their systems? Hardly a likely outcome, despite the fringe opinions.
Now hold your horses, what's the latency on USB3? If it's anything significant at all, it won't be suitable for replacing HDMI. Transferring live video is a low-latency application.
Each and everyone makes that decision for themselves, obviously. But again, if someone chooses to get unnecessary treatment in the way Luyseyal indicated, what is the cost? Health care is not an unlimited resource.
The issue is who pays for it. Feel free to do whatever you like and try to extend your life by a few days, but don't expect the rest of society to fund it.

Hey, mammography is a perfectly normal medical procedure!

a lot of these issues can be fixed by simply rebuilding from a non-administrator account and watching what happens.
What... I hope you don't mean the build process changes depending on the developer's user privileges?
You hear "Macs make movies" so often and if anyone who doesn't work in the industry could see the state of things they would find the quote funny.
It's funny because it's true these days, even if grammatically flawed: Macs make it in the movies. Blatant product placement.
Your arguments are equally one-sided. Fail.
Some might say that makes sense without the "Goat", too.

Don't all cannons do that, even the ones that fire?

Plugging in to what, though? Having the screen combined still seems like a win to me.
if we ignored him, he'd probably go away only to be replaced by an anti-gaming figurehead that wasn't batshit fucking insane
I've never quite understood this argument. Can there be only one?
Is there any actual benefit to be gained from removing "cruft", other than saving a smidgen of memory?
No, a beard second is a distance of one second of growth.

Where's the compromise?
The police.
, still vulnerable.
Each house in a block has a number, each block in an area has a number, each area has a name.
The whole "problem" of viruses being alive or not comes from the mistaken presumption that life/non-life is a binary proposition.
What you really mean is that, after installing it, you realized that 1.5TB = 1.36TiB. The drive didn't shrink, and nobody lied to you.
