    As for your ridiculous strawman argument: At what point did I ever even suggest that I support muslim fundamentalist violence against other muslims? Of course I don't. At least respond to what I actually said please, not just presume its OK to put your own liberal insanity in my mouth too.

    The Israelis don't need to blow themselves up. They have enough money coming from US-based Jews and the US government to buy endless military vehicles like jets and big fucking tanks that they regularly use to bomb and bulldoze the homes of legal civilian residents of Palestine and the Gaza strip, and also to starve them out by blockading aid and food trucks getting to them.

    Totally agree. The fact that they pay lip-service to fighting terrorism but continue to let these radicalized psychos hide out in their communities is the clear indicator of the actual mindset of these so-called "moderates".

    because its not a true free market. Of course there's competition but they all agree to not go below a certain point, so they all make a big profit.

    Its the same reason I'm paying $67/month for cable internet here in the US (even though its like $15/month in the EU for fibre) and a new cellphone costs $700, even though it almost certainly costs a handful of $ per unit to make.

    Yes of course there are exceptions. When people talk about groups (e.g. guys are ....) they generally mean "on average", unless they say something like ALL guys are....

    Also if you don;t mind me saying... if he is as you say.your BF is a COMPLETE control freak. ALL those people are more trouble than they're worth and you need to dump him before it causes you a lot of pain before inevitably going nowhere.

    Unlike what most people apparently believe, the market price for something has almost nothing to do with the actual cost of producing it. It is actually entirely based on supply and demand. The price for things fluctuates accordingly.

    So assuming everyone gets say $10k/yr just for being alive, the average cost of living will just very quickly go up by $10k/yr, leaving a net benefit of exactly 0 even possibly a negative benefit because we will have to pay more income tax because of our "free" income. For the rest of us, the higher cost of living just means everything is more expensive and the really poor will just suffer more.

    I put it down to most companies increasingly blatant exploitation of their employees leading to said employees being less inclined to work long extra hours on demand for nothing in return, not even any credible guarantees of continued employment..
