I dont know what matters anymore. Intel keeps telling me that MHz matter, AMD says performance, but they don't ever say what kind, and Apple keeps telling me that all that matters is THEM!
I'm switching to ARM9.
525i and p are the same as 480i and p. The extra 45 lines are used for the electron gun in a crt to reset itself after doing an interlaced frame. Since all you see is 480 lines, most people call it that, but it is actually 525. I am not sure, but the extra 45 lines may also be used to carry data such as parental control data, closed captioning, and VCR+ data on newer TVs.
Remember to add the 20000 man hours to recompile your kernel and rewrite MythTV to work, than a lawsuit for throwing your computer at your neighbors head after it does not work after the 20000 hours, then $2000 for therapy for feelings of stupidity because you could have done the same thing with a $200 TiVo and a $300 iPod.
Ring!!!
[Takes phone out]

[Clicks little green phone]
Hello, please hold for one second
[Silence]
[Traffic noises abruptly begin]

I'm not surprised, whenever Apple has some good luck, it gets cockey and neglects its developers. Adobe is doing the same thing, I wouldn't be surprised if Microsoft pulls office and Virtual PC, the way the pulled explorer.
I own a couple so called "combo" devices, always advertised to do more than the sum total of the devices it combined, and so far, I have been disapointed. If you want something done right, do it yourself. Build your own hardware, print your own silicon, and write your own software for your combo device, then you know it wont fail. That looks like a combination of about 20 brands, from Linux to Windows tablets to Tron cellphones. There has to be a hole somewhere.
If anyone cared to look at the specs for the e800/e805, you will see that there is VoIP software included in ROM. Check out their PDF document at Toshiba.
