Space is big. You just won't believe how vastly, hugely, mind- bogglingly big it is. I mean, you may think it's a long way down the road to the drug store, but that's just peanuts to space.
Everyone seems to be attacking this with technological solutions. I say return the papers to the prof's in question and tell them you will be glad to put up anything that is submitted in digital format. (Read: not on papaer)
The time-suck that this would represent would be enormous and IMHO any director would understand why undertaking this project in this fashion would be ridiculous.
I also have found the same thing, I had used a Sony VIAO with a 3/4 size keyboard for some time without any issues. But when my job required me to use a conventional keyboard & mouse I began developing wrist pain. Now my Powerbook seems to let it feel better, but as soon as I return to a conventional keyboard I can count on several days of discomfort.
-- All in all, it's very ironic to watch everyone practically spit on the screen because they came here expecting a movie like the M1... that story's already been told. If you wanted to see the Matrix again, go watch it again. How very typical of western culture to feel a great emotion for something, and then demand feeling that same emotion again... it's simply impossible: and that is why the M2|3 will never live up to some people's expectations. --
