Really you can't see the use in this? Currently Japan maintains one of the worlds last whaling fleets and is under constant pressure from the international community to stop the practice yet there is clearly a large demand for whale meat in Japan. They were most likely trying to breed cows that tasted like whale or docile whale that they could herd and farm in the ocean. Actually, this is a great idea.
I always assumed I fell somewhere in between a "hardcore" gamer and a "casual" gamer. I play a lot of games but I am not terribly good at them. I am even willing to invest a few hundred bucks (which don't exactly come to me with any great speed) for the new experience. However I simply can not afford an HDTV I don't care about how crisp it is 800 bucks for a TV that may or may not last is way out of my price range, I'd rather spend the money on tons of DVD movies and women. I have no plans on buying an HDTV either and most people I know, the ones that live in the real world and not in their parents basement generally don't have any plans either (unless they watch a lot of football). Anyway all these factors lead me to waiting in line to buy the Wii on the first day. When I lived with a bunch of people the WIi was great we spent lots of time playing it, making Mii's, Rayman, Trauma Center but then all of a sudden the games kind of dried up. I did not enjoy Paper Mario and now that I had to move to another city because of work I find myself unable to entertain just myself with the Wii, I wish I had a 360 now. The Wii is a great idea but I hope it doesn't get Nintendo disease the very same lack of games syndrome that killed the n64 and gc. Oh Well
Ultimately this can't be a good way to recycle plastic. All you are doing is taking it out of the ground to burn it, combine it with oxygen to make it heavier and then releasing it into the air? Id rather have it in the landfill until we can find a better solution then this. Unless you can turn that oil and gas back into plastic.

The problem with that statement is that most people are below average. Get it, half people are above average and half are below it. We can't let 1/2 of our population be preyed on.
I can't wait for Wii Mario Kart, I don't know if its been announced or when its coming, but it is the sole reason I got a Wii. The only game I really ever play on my Wii is Mario Kart Double Dash (from 2003).
The proof of these atrocities you talk about all come from accounts of CHRISTIAN MONKS who took it upon themselves to record what they wanted too. Despite what you learned in grade school we aren't exactly 100% positive they even sacrificed many humans like that.
Being a left handed person, when I try to use a pen like object with my right hand, it doesn't quite work the way i want it too (I'm sure everyone has tried to write with their other hand once in their lives. This means I will have trouble holding the machine and useing the dpad with my left hand and trying to write on the screen. Any writing would be illegable. I most likely couldnt make precision movements required in an fps if I cant make an uppercase K on paper with a pen.
