I've been hearing this about Nortel for a while. At the last place I interviewed at -- one of the top ten banks in America -- I was told they used to be mostly Nortel, but had migrated nearly everything over to Cisco in the last 3 years.
What a boring and trite excerpt. I hope this didn't get any accolades or high-praise.
I'll sum it up for those who didn't read:

Apple is so great, and innovative, and fantastic. They make the best, most dependable enterprise products, and they treat their developers like gods. I wish Apple controlled the entire computer industry. It would be beautiful , intuitive, and in a word, "perfect."
Poor Slashdot babies, crying about me exalting their Linux kernel. Blind platform arrogance and aggressive fanboyism (rating a post 0 for no good reason)is the reason Linux will never be a success in the desktop market.
Apple's stuff is made in Taiwan like everyone else's, and from what I've had to work on in the past 2-months (4 black matte iMacs: 3 with bad screens, one a bad motherboard, and each less than a month old) the quality is the same or less than other hardware vendors.

Who put Harvey Dent and what's her name in the oil barrel rooms? Joker said he didn't do it.
It was mob boss Salvatore Maroni (portrayed by Eric Roberts in the film). It was Maroni's warehouse that Dent and Rachel were in. That's why Batman questioned Maroni (threw him off the building breaking his legs) and that's why Two-face shot the driver causing Maroni's limo to wreck.
If I remember correctly from the comics it was Maroni who turned Dent into Two-face.

MID is heavily based upon SGI's Indigo Magic Desktop and IRIX Interactive Desktop environments. I believe the developer may have an agreement with SGI also.

Yeah, Slashdot has been this way for a few years. If you don't spread FUD, participate in unwarranted Microsoft bashing, worship Apple/Steve Jobs, praise Linux, and claim that being a Libertarian will instantly solve all political probelms you are modded troll or flamebait on Slashdot. It's almost as if society's drastic political correctness and seeming decline is mirrored on Slashdot.
Metroid Prime 3 isn't that good, but Super Mario Galaxy is great. Link's Crossbow Training is also a lot of fun for just $20.

HP already has OpenVMS, MPE, Domain/OS, ULTRIX, Tru64 UNIX, and HP-UX.
Do they really need to work on another OS?
How about using some of that existing OS technology?
It costs BILLIONS to build out the telecom systems.
