Or just maybe you are in a field where you depend on your cellphone to recieve your assignments and/or speak to clients. ..you could be, I dunno, a journalist or a photographer. ..or hell, how about a contractor. Tell those people to keep their pants on and just drive to their office/hotelroom/bungalow/tent in the forrest to make their all important phonecalls that keep bread on their table and a roof over their children's heads.
1. Give everyone total random access to the network
2. Prioritize callers based on the time they used that day.
3. Bounce calls off when slots are not available to give priority to those who haven't used the line as much.
That has to be the absolute dumbest idea I have ever heard. What about service reliability? How is a cellphone supposed to be viable for any business use if making a call is a crap shoot?
I sometimes wonder if I'm one of the last generations (I'm 34) who will have any solid grounding in grammar, spelling, and basic English constructs for the future.
don't worry, us ESL kids will keep the faith
And during the decade that MS will take to complete Longhorn all the windows users are completely SOL for something that shouldn't reqire an expensive software upgrade, security and stability. . .
Point is that we do get news from Argentina, but it's all bad. Would be easy to understand if every one in the US thought that food fights are a popular tradition, or that bringing trucks filled with live chickes to let out in front of the congress building is a form of tribute. The best gem from this last year is the news report that told about the resignations of three presidents withing a month or so. Knowing all that, yes, it is refreshing to get get good news, You stupid gringo.
si, y muchas seguro! (if looking at it from the "cucaracha(roach) == bug" angle of course

This is how you get rid of airtime.

Ah yes, the Center for Digital Deomcracy. . .
fine work they do, daily fighting the spread of Omcracy that has taken so many young lives and minds.
That's because they haven't *done* anything yet. . . give them a bit of time

"THIS is America?!?!"

I for one am glad to find good news about Argentina on this list (#23). It's very rare to actually hear good news about that country in the US.
wouldn't that be the opposite, seeing that it's an early work?
first I've ever heard them called chicklet iBooks, I thought the widely accepted name was icebook
