  1. Why is this wasting space on /.? on Perfect Pitch for Those Without It · · Score: 1

This technology has been around for year, in www.antarestech.com has had HOME versions of this stuff (including multiple auto-tune 1U rack units specializing in overal sound, vocals, etc) for under $400. This aside from the plugins for most software that can be had for under $100 and the farm cards for pro-tools hardware. Jeez.... i would have thought it a sad day when /. was behind the times.

  2. My oh my! on Microsoft Virus Spam: SoBig.F · · Score: 1

Looks like i'll be dealing with lots of "broken e-mail machines".

  3. Gator, marketing tool of the decade! on Microsoft wants Automatic Update for Windows · · Score: 1

This is a great point. People don't want security. They don't care about viruses (unless their connection slows). They don't care what they install. Lastly, as long as their "e-mail machine" isn't "broken" they don't give a rat's ass about anything that comes from their "`puter". I think that the only thing that will solve this is a strict regiment of euthanasia and eugenics!

  4. It is true! on Russia Plans Martian Nuclear Station · · Score: 2, Interesting

...And so it was fortold by prophet Kim Stanley Robinson. Too bad the date was a little off.

  5. Re:Uh oh! on FreeBSD Passes 9000 Ports · · Score: 2, Funny

[DarwinUser#1] If only those people using BSD knew how lame their operating system was, they'd never fork it. ;)

  6. When will i learn on Florida's Version Of TIA May Spread To Other States · · Score: 1

Goddamnit, just when i thought I had the right pill picked they changing the whole system on me. I just don't think i'm going to be able to win this.

  7. Color me amazed on Linking Dangerously · · Score: 1

As a follower of media trends and sympathizer of anti WTO, IMF, and Globalization trends i must say that I am surprised to see this kind of support from /.ers This is normally the kind of discussion shared with my punk rock friends and the like. Kudos to everyone for well thought political discussion.
