We'll get to the whole slanderer and customers part in a moment, but basically they're going to do what they're going to do and I'll have to deal with it. However, I'll have help. I'll be represented in these matters by:

It's a big deal that he's doing this, and let's just say if I was forced to pay the full cost of his services we'd be talking indentured servitude. If there is a guy to send your love to for helping out, it's him. MXS is going to do what they feel they have to do, but one way or another -- with some help from some friends -- it'll work out as it should.
There is still the problem of removing the heat. If there is enough surface area to allow the heat to be removed then you are ok, otherwise the oil (and everything else) will get too hot.
then you could always make some killer fries by overclocking. i see no prob w/ that.
i was just pointing out that the word `invented' was nowhere near that phrase. in that context, or at least thats how i see it, `created' means i `helped make it what it is now'. but of course i have no idea what he actually did, i just got wind of the inventor-of-the-internet joke from futurama.
For my purposes, the Athlon 2200+ is equivalent to a 1GHz Pentium 3. I have tested this with several different programs, stuff that I use day to day, not generic benchmarks.
would you like to share with the rest of the class what might tose day-to-day programs be? because in `generic benchmarks' [as you call them, scimark2 to be more specific] a 1.1ghz p3 does ~230mflops and a xp2500+ does ~400. approximate numbers of course, but you get the idea.
There is also Dropline, of course, which is quite popular. However, due to
their policy of adding PAM and replacing large system packages (like the
entire X11 system) with their own versions, I can't give quite the same sort
of nod to Dropline. Nevertheless, it remains another choice, and it's _your_
system, so I will also mention their project: http://www.dropline.net/gnome/

short answer: yes.
long answer: yes -- family guy died once and it did matter for the fans so fox revived it.
and to be on topic, i for one cant wait for our futurama overlords to be back. even on dvd.

13) -5 points for reffering to ones SO as gf/bf
you make it sound like that is a bad thing.

he already seems to have legal support:
