They use their power to influnce those not in the know and give the powerful even more control.
Those penned fish breed disease and kill the native population.
Get use to stunted, zombie salmon that taste like cardboard.
Because, Thats all you will be able to afford, once the native stocks are killed off.
I'm not so sure about the SSRI crap, Although i've tried them without improvement. But, Atavan ( an old, easily abused drug with a fast tolerance ramp ) will make you feel like you can pick up a supermodel or carry on a conversation with Hawking.
Finally got over it, Just realized that it's not worth worrying about, Nothing is worth worrying about.
I agree, My house is in a rural area but the DLS connections stop one half mile from my door. There are another 15 houses within one mile of mine, all without broadband. I sit on a desert island, with nothing but dialup. I've contacted the telco, centurytel and got the response, "you're not on the list for any DSL at this time or in the future."
BTW, They laid all new copper last year to support new housing in the area. WTF?
Another kid holding up something his pop designed, with nodding approval from the kid as he shows off a machine that would take months to build, CAD, proto, testing, more machining, testing. When did this kid go to school?
REALLY? REALLY?
This is just another science project by a hi-tech dad, thrown to a kid that "probably" doesn't totally understand, or couldn't do the design that he's holding in his hands.without the holding hands of PhD Dad or Mom. Something like this requires money and a lot more.
Much like the late night TV ads where you can try a product ( usually exercise equipment ) for only $19.95. Of course, if you keep it, expect your credit card to rack up some large charges.
Had to throw in Kinzua, another dead, bulldozed company town, I grew up their hunting deer with my family right up from the golf course, Yes A Golf Course.
Watch out for the cow pies. Had a log cabin bar and a general store right out of a "fill in the blank" book. It's a shame it's gone.
Goldendale has an industrial park, It's occupied by the vacant France snowboard factory and a mint oil blending facility.
That is it, nothing else in over 10 years. Since the aluminum smelter shutdown, It's slowly turning into a ghost town.
Being in the middle of this high desert boom, I can say that most, if not all of the economic development brought into these areas are high on tech
and low on jobs. Our area, Goldendale Wa., just up the river from the new google server farm, has bent over for a regional landfill,
a gas fired turbine juice plant and windmills (1000's), The jobs created were security and maintenance.
One shining success, The cattle ranchers that had crappy land got rich leasing to the windmill operators.
One stated, " I can afford to ranch again"
I'm still getting dialup, DLS is 1/4 miles away and in a year gigibit network will be within a 1/2 mile. I'll be seeing none of that.
Fuck the telcos and their tax credits and fees.
Skates??? How about some flying ointment? Rub it on and you're off. Of course you never leave the ground, but you think you did.
Too bad the recipe was lost long ago.

Crap! I meant UN-EXECUTED code.
Snort! And most of it's dead code.
Forgot to add, It seems depression is just chronic fear.

If it works for you, even if it's a placebo effect, I guess it worked.
DEviaNT sez you fail
Ninjas are not amused.

Did you miss the "commercial and private jetliners" in the first sentence?
What the hell is with his web page? Does he hate gays and incite them with all his crooked pictures?

Even that fluffy shit on the top? I tried it as a kid, and NO, Not edible. Bullshit.

Where did you get that bullshit? Citations?
What? From all national datacenters?
BTW, I live here.

Not to worry, The server farms supply little but tax revenues, The locals won't notice and the elected officials will move on to their next mark.
I would give you a +5 funny, but I lost my humor in the Bush years and slashdot has been very stingy with mod points.

Good morning Mr. Hilter.
I worked for a company that ignored the tool problem. You had to perform routing and timing in your head and with a CAD GUI. Not pretty.
FYI, Direct conversion of RF without a IF or tuning is where it's at today. Lousy selection though
