Actually we DO have equations for all the physics that relate to it. They teach the basics in a course called "statics", then when they start moving they call it "dynamics". Then you get into solid mechanics/Mechanics of Deformable solids (think steel as a sponge).
Then there is of course FEA, which is just an application of MODS, and really just a massive mess/"system" of equations.
Personally I use vim and emacs, they can do everything those editors can, and much more. Once you get over the learning curve, which I did, there is no reason to try the less capable editors.

Apparently some potentially violent situations are reported by single calls. Being seen to ignore such a call is very "costly" (in Public opinion, potentially lives), whereas kicking in some innocent guys door is still seen as mostly forgivable by the public.
To justify spending on any project, you have to explain why it is worth spending money on. This is standard practice for any large expenditure.
It's a simple concept, but it's hard to do well.
Simply identify the benefits of hiring someone, and their value. If the additional value is more than their cost, by the required return, they'll spend the money.
If you spend your time doing other stuff, point out you spend x% of your time doing this other stuff, and if you consider the context switching overhead you're very inefficient. That's often enough to hire a jr support guy.
They pushed for the Common user interface stuff back in the DOS days, and it was great.
Now they're trying to merge desktop, tablet, phone & TV/Xbox into a consistent theme of UI. It's hard but they're pushing hard. They're getting a lot of pushback, but I think that's inherent in what they are doing, Gnome 3 is getting the same thing.
Apple however does the same thing, but they've conditioned their customer base to accept the Apple way.
The fact that they simultaneously claim it is a thermoplastic and that it cures confuses me. Thermoplastics don't really cure, they just melt and "freeze", so what is it?

BTW your local bodyshop should be able to pop out panels and touch up small scratches relatively cheaply, at least compared to replacing the part with a 3D printed replacement, which would still need to be painted.
Their goal is to push their political adgenda which is basically anti- anything big & powerful. Transparency is just a cover.
The reality is we need transparency and accountability to control the big powers effectively. However, realistically they also need some secrets to function effectively.
It isn't black and white like crypto, with a public algorithm and secret key where everyone (with a clue) is in agreement where the line is.
In the real world the division of what should and should not be shared is not as clear.
At which point UAV anti-anti-UAV platforms will become useful.
UAV AAA and anti jamming platforms would be nice, but then there will be more decoys, all this technology will be rendered moot, and we'll be back to the importance of good intelligence.
The problem is that there is no technical difference between the legal robocallers and the illegal robocallers.
What is the technical difference between a charity calling to sell you something and a company calling to sell you something? Recipients of the call don't see any difference, the phone system sees no difference. The scripts are likely no different.
I had a blackberry before my Galaxy S2. It did everything I needed just fine, I moved on to get the larger screen and a better web browser, not because of any shortage of apps.
As far as demanding uncompressed images from a cell phone camera, that's laughable. The camera quality, while improving is so bad that there really is little benefit to RAW. If you want RAW, get a real camera.

If the allegations are serious enough, they will destroy you LONG before you get your day in court. That's the real problem today.
