I've plastered as many OpenOffice.org posters around campus as I can. I just found out last week this campus has a Microsoft software ambassador of some kind.
I like these hard hitting interviews better when the interviewer doesn't come off sounding like a 14 year old boy shaking in his boots. That guy was laughing his ass off inside.
Any person in this country, who is indicted for an offense in another country, is in danger of extradition, where an agreement exists to extradite. There is nothing wrong with sending accused (indicted) to the country where the crime is alledged to have occured. Wouldn't you want the opportunity to recover persons who are alledged to have committed crimes in your country and left for another country. Or should we all rob a bank and make for Mexico?
I was a labourer in a sewage lagoon. The aeration motors had been incorrectly installed, and had scrubbed holes in the clay liner of the lagoon. We diverted flow, drained the lagoon into an adjacent river and set to work. Our task was to seal the holes using a bentonite mixture. I would walk out into the middle of the lagoon, and initially I noticed how the ground seemed to move beneath my feet. On further inspection, I determined that it was not the ground itself, but the thick layer of worms which no longer had human feces to digest and were slowly starving their little selves to death. I didn't suffer an ill effects, other than the fact that minor cuts and scrapes refused to heal until after I had completed the job.

Posting to Slashdot on SCO's balderdash is preaching to the choir. Try chatting up your local investment firm manager. Bring your same verve for debunking SCO's house of cards to a financial investment manager. Got a 401K? An RRSP? Call your broker/advisor/coin tosser and tell them to drop SCO from YOUR portfolio. And explain to them why they should. Yeah, I know, who's going to listen to one complaint? Slashdot has more than a few readers, and I imagine some of them have investments. SCO stepped on your turf. So take the fight back to theirs.
Go check Groklaw. IBM is asking for a declaratory judgement. SCOX trading tomorrow should be, um, amusing.

I am a nurse, and am rarely in a position to require the services of a physician. That prevention thing you know....
Ask any doctor and he'll tell you not to get sick in the first place.
