"Ok, you have us convinced, my pals and I are going home. But on the way, we're going to stop at the local Al-Kmart and do a little shopping, maybe stock up on RPGs and high explosives.
So have fun in Baghdad. Do some sightseeing. Check out Saddams palaces. And watch your backs, because we're going to be bombing and sniping and kidnapping your asses until hell freezes over. Your pal, an Iraqi soldier."
Now that GW has been re-elected and we can now blame America as a nation for it, I am wondering how the Republican Guard is going to propagate fear. Are Americans really going to swallow another 4 years of yellow alerts and Dick Cheney's evil laugh? On the other hand, they already swallowed 3 years and asked for seconds.
I was wondering what would happen when the disk ruptured. Like if you're on the phone and the first-stage disk 'plodes against your head, isn't that gonna hurt even a little?
I didn't like to hear that kind of personal attack, even though it's 100% accurate. It hurt his credibility a little, but for the most part, I was impressed by how he refused to rise to the baiting from the bowtied dick. Oops.
They're not quite dead yet. But keep a good thought!
The courts have their thorough processes to run through. SCO will get umpteen chances to submit memorandums, emergency memorandums, memorandums in opposition to motions, memorandums in support of motions, motions to support memorandums in support of motions for summary judgement, no wait, theres more...
It's making me ill to watch how easily the process is to abuse. But thank God, unless a MS steps in and ponies up the cash, it will eventually be over.
Believe it when you see it in court, and nowhere else. If we took them at their word, we'd (most of us I suspect) all be $699 poorer by now. To my recollection there has not been a single release from SCO which has not been spun or otherwise doctored the straight goods into something more palatable for current and potential SCO investors (if there's such a thing).
An astute poster has noticed SCO cannot use UNIX System Laboratories without the expressed consent of the Open Group. Apparently it has not yet received such permission. Shot down in about a day, what a resource!
In addition to its usual bullshit and bluster, SCO finds it necessary to occasionally perform a tactical release of an especially stinky pile of festering, dripping wet feces. I believe we owe this particulary pungent release to the Wednesday morning meeting where Mr Broderick's affidavit will more or less be shitcanned. A somewhat embarassing turn of events for SCO, to say the least. These guys must have huge arms from shovelling so much shit.
Okay, um, SCO is the Devil incarnate, Darl will burn in Hell eternally for his sins, Slashdot is nerd Mecca.....there, that's as much whoring as I can hold down before lunch, can I get modded up PUHLEEZE!
Is it just me, or is Slashdot not quite with it when it comes to headlines? Maybe indepth karma-whoring, yes, but that incisive cutting edge newsbreaking is, well, sucking somewhat
For what it's worth, I've been using Shareaza for about a year now, having tried Limewire et al, and finding them wanting in their interfaces. No spyware either.
1GB? Why I remember when 640K was enough for any man. It was 19diggity-2. We had to call it diggity, cuz the Kaiser had stolen our word for twnety. Now then......
I have experienced what you might call a "strained" relationship with my ISP, Aliant. Something to do with PSP software and "thousands of connections?" Anyways, with this decision apparently making it legal to have those thousands of connections, what pretense will their Security division use to threaten me next?
This post was composed with the assistance of Kilkenny. Screw Denmark.

I can't believe this kind of thing still goes on in a country like the US!

Cheating at reversi? Does anyone take it that seriously? That has a girlfriend, or a dog, or even a friggin fish or two.

Pontiac Sunbird:
Body by Fisher, Interior by Fisher-Price
As far as I know anyways. I'd love to use them, if they're as good as Firefox is, but I need Outlook for my PocketPC.
No, it has one. It's a PITA, like many other aspects of OO, but it's in there.

It's at least $0.01 per 10.....Americans...*shakes head*.....
The way the US has been operating lately, I wouldn't dismiss that as an option just yet.
Desert Storm 1. The CNN guys using IRC to get info past the Iraqis.
