    This seems like junk that Dell have installed to make some cash one the side. If firefox bundled the same dns hijacker then who would you blame? Firefox or google?

    Just because google make the tool doesn't mean its their fault that it is installed by default in a spywareish fashion.

    Also forgot to mention that it does have a memory card, It came free with a 32 mb card and I don't really need anything bigger. Syncing with a PIM is easy, it uses SyncML so it can be done anywhere over wap/gprs.

    Yes it does have both an MP3 player and a video player so yes I could listen to them, otherwise what would be the point storing them.

    what the fuck @ $50 data cable, I can walk into any dodgy phone shop and get a unbranded datacable for £5. Also does it have infra-red or bluetooth? both of which my laptop has so I don't even need a data cable.

    It can do a few of them things, It does tell me the details field of my calender It can run vnc client If I had a gig sd card I could use it to store mp3s.

    The biggest use of a pda is to keep track of appointments, take notes, and hold contact information - all of which my nokia 6230 can do NOW! PDAs are dying.

    I believe it is something to do with anti-aliasing fonts smaller than 8pt. Mac does - Windows doesnt.

    other voip providers use a something called Session Initation Protocol which is an open standard, compatable with loads of clients even open source ones like kphone.
    Even the routing can be done with open projects such as Asterisk. Skype is worthless proprietary tripe compared to these solutions.

    opera is multihead friendly. Just drag a tab out of the tab bar and you can have it on your other monitor. Either that or you can open a new root window too (Alt-ctrl-n).

    I feel the same, I remember when the low pentiums came out and how in some situations 486 was faster! I remember getting quoted 2000 pounds for a P1 166. I remember paying 1400 pounds for P1 166mhz no MMX, 32mb ram and 4 gig hard disk later that year.
