    yeah, because just like in the military having more medals does not actually mean you are more competent. A degree is no guarantee of competence, but society (both Australian and US) have this tendency to just reward the mediocre, hence degrees for turning up, and medals for turning up. No wonder the value of these "awards" is diminishing.

    And the news is?!?!? I have recived the same response from PALM every time I tried to get a replacment battery for my m500. However as long as there are alternatives, I don't see what the problem is.

    As said you cannot blame Apple, the reason I could not purchase 99c tracks is that the music industry is slowly destroying itself by ignoring market forces. Australia may be a small market but it is statistically significant. I remember writing something at Uni on how monopolies are good, cannot for the life of me remember how I made a logical argument. I give the music industry anther 3 years (if that) before it "deregulates" itself.
