Slightly off-topic:
One solution tot he port 25 blocking is using sendmail's smart relay option (or the equivalent in postfix or what have you) to forward throgh your ISp's mail servers. That works going through Earthlink.net via mail.mindspring.com (mindspring is owned by Earthlink)
To be sure!
These Big Brother-esque trends are exactly the kind of thing that makes me afraid to move about in public. Not that I would anyway...:)
@#$%ing/. effect - I want to see those cams.
It really doesn't matter WHAT type of system we use - be it paper or electronic - it's how much thought and time we take in designing these ballots. It's perfectly possible to have an easy, user-friendly chad system as it is to have an obtuse and confusing electronic system - and vice versa.
Sure, the general public is stupid - but it's not like this is a new problem; we've been designing for stupidity for decades (centuries?)
Ah yes, the 'traditional' method.
Byproducts include numerous "Desktop Stuff" folders, frewuently nested within others of the same name.
I'm a fan of the 'berserker trashfest' style myself - let it build up until it drives you insane, then chuck everything in sight.
Consider Final Cut Express - much cheaper than FCP, has most of the features, at a much lower price point, and downright dirt cheap if you qualify for an academic license.

Carcinogenic? What isn't, these days... (sigh)
Who modded that 'insightful'?? Interesting, OK Informative, I'l buy it. Insightful?
I'm pretty sure Doom III will run on G5's when it's released. I seem to have read interviews with Carmack that mentioned that fact... ANyhoo.
