First off - I am very much against child porn.
But is it fair for a government to block a IP?
I can see if aol or verizon, etc.. decided to do this while the authorites track down the bastards the put up this crap, but the internet WAS supposed to be for the people and uncontrolled (though that does not mean "not-policed")
And if I have a business site hosted next door to a child-porn site, I would be infuriated at the hosting company for not removing that site and at any revenue loss I would incurr from the state blocking the ip.
Such commercials, including past IBM ads, show how companies must explain the value of complex technology to consumers who may be unaware of the capabilities of their personal computers or mobile phones.
People will just buy any pc that 'looks cool', and windows XP or pentium 4 are like buzzwords that to them means 'quality'
I would love for more people to use linux, but if I remember right, back in the eighties when all I had was DOS, I was a computer nerd, and hardly anyone I knew had a pc, now everyone I know has a computer. But now that everything is window based, linux might still be a viable alternative due to the x window system. (i love kde!)
It's gonna take ALOT of ads and recommendation from current users but I can't wait for the real 'revolution' to occurr.
yay for linux!
well, number one, I listen to indy stuff so the prices usually are pretty cheap anyway.
number two, when will they increase the quality of the actual media, that right there would get me to buy more, rather than copy it to a cdr (which is what I do now, I back up ALL my cd's because they scrath too easily)
Well I guess since nasa can't take off (challenger) or land (columbia) that they will just need to know how to fly it, wait when was the last time someone said that (9-11)
YEAH!

I live in philly, so in 2006 I think I will have to put slack stickers on all the doors. (when i was in school i used to just spit on the doors)
yeah, that's unfortunate, but i'm sure that the fault lies with their security gaurd not the admin's
