Why would you want to 'wear' a computer? There are very few of us who need to stay connected 24/7. And how do you wash the clothes? I don't want someone able to track me wherever I go (not that I'm hiding anything lol)
Seriously, PDA's are really coming along, in a couple years you'll have a fully functional computer inside a PDA with free wireless and everything you need. And if you need to hide for a while, its easy to 'forget' your computer in the house or car. You can't really do that with clothing.
I'll have to try that out, I've become addicted to DOOM again, but with an updated Quake style interface ZDOOM
My favourite mod for DOOM was one that took all the items in the level and randomly changed them into something else. You could pick the percentages if you wanted, so I'd change them mostly into barrels and sargents. You really didn't have to shoot much, they blew themselves up pretty good LOL
I have 2 routes I can take to work. If my normal route, the fast highway is clogged up because of an accident or bad weather, I can take the normally somewhat slower alternate route. Gotta love technology.
Whats funny is when there is an accident, the operators zoom in with the cameras so you can see the damage up close LOL
Is it sandwiched between two pieces of plastic? Is it located on the inside/outside of the visor? This is important, because by sandwiching it, the two pieces of plastic could start separating over time. If its on the outside, like current iridium coated visors (the metallic mirrored ones) it will be easily scratched and damaged by bugs and debris. Inside is obviously best, however it would still be susceptible to fingers/foggy breath/scratching that could damage it.
I wonder how much these would cost. Current visors cost between $40 up to $100 for mirrored fancy ones. (up here in Canada eh)
50% still isn't good enough for night time riding. I use a tinted visor on my helmet and sometimes get caught out after dark without my clear visor. The tint isn't too dark, maybe 35% but its enough to make you feel uncomfortable on main streets, nevermind rural areas. 50% wouldn't be much better.
Simple solution, just flip it up if you get caught out, thats what I do.
