a comment about red hat they earned consumer respect before charging for their product still offer it for free and give you something worth having (tech support) when you pay for it huge difference

the MPAA would raise hell if they did that they're obviously pissed about tive although they have gotten over it they bitch about tivo network transfer ability which allows piracy a portable device would do the same faster because when you're done watching it on your handheld you are obviously gonna upload it to your PC then share it on Kazaa only giving them more reason to shut it down

  4. LEgality? on Wired: Sony Prototyping Personal Video Player · · Score: 0

What questions of legality apply to a personal video player that don't apply to my Ipod they could play equally legal and illegal content although it is harder to copy legitimate video to your hard drive with the right hardware it is still fairly simple Sony definetly does need to stick the the personal vidoe market Apple is making a major takeover in the audio market

Sony stick to what you started with

  5. RIAA take note on SunnComm Reconsiders Lawsuit Threat · · Score: 0

This is what the RIAA has been doing for months sue first think later
This is a pointless lawsuit they are better off sitting there banging the bat against there hand then trying to hit him the industry seems to have turned against White Hat Hackers Adrian LAmo a premiere " security expert" was arrested because he hacked the NY times then told them AND NO BODY ELSE what was wrong this is close to the same thing although he shouldn't have gone public with this first but if they aren't going to do anything about it ( like microsoft) then you have to go public se they fix it or lose some of their customer base

Their protection is useless anyway it drives up the price of already over priced CD's and only stops the common user from listening to the CD they bought on their IPOD so they go to kazaa where a true pirate with the intent to defraud the "music industry" THen they download the file and get sued by the RIAA all because the RIAA makes pointless attempts at protection on CD's where all you have to do to get past it is to hold down the shift key it is cycle that starts with the RIAA's stupidity end ends with us and our friends pissed off at them and boycotting their CD's a hopefully cause them to end up losing money

Damn the RIAA full speed ahead

I'm not a lawyer though i like to keep up with this I was wondering if the RIAA's supoenas were deemed unconstitutional what effect would that have on the supoenas they have already issued and especially the cases they have already settled

It's like memorizing peoples names by where they sit in class. You know first row third seat is bill but you regognize him by position rather then their face. You see Micros and you assume Microsoft rather then my intention Microscope through the repition of reading Microsoft millions of time you make an assumption The key to this theory is that you make an assumption based on repition which someone who is newer to ENglish might not regognise it Just out of curiosity i would wonder if enough years of experience might fix this problem
