GATOR IS SPYWARE. in my early years of net usage(around 1996) I saw this program GATOR.It seemed like a good idea as I was allways forgetting passwords later as I matured(around 1996) I find out that GATOR THE SPYWARE was sending companies lists of websites I was visiting, so I deleted it. About 4 months later I find out that even uninstalled it was still sending those stats! WTF! Io I got adaware by lavasoft (or the GATOR is SPYWARE KILLER) and got that shit out of my computer. GATOR please send me a CAD order so I can empress my coworkers with my lawless ways./
Sorry to tell fellow Who Nerds but BBC US no longer carries Who. Why (your gonna love this)Because the BBC wants too much for the rights! About 2 years ago BBC US carried the same 14 tom baker episodes for over a year, when I wrote to complain they sent me back an e-mail explaining these were the only episodes the bbc would licence and that they were going to drop Who because it was too expensive. There used to be a fyi about it but the site has undergon a major re-design and I could find no official mention of dr who.
Because id like to hear stuff I LIKE not some half wit with a banjo and a broadband connection....anyhow most of the bands im buying are non-riaa anyhow.

Humbug! how many laws do we have here in the us as a knee jerk reaction to some crisis(patriot act)? How many get passed and are unenforceable or un funded(clean elections law....this might just be a situation endemic to massachuttes,but I doubt it)? The point is without enforceability the law is just window dressing!

Its been my experience that upon hearing most of the cd that its NOT worth buying for the 1 or 2 good songs on it. sorry but your comment assumes that the whole cd is worth buying and usually its not. I myself buy USED for the most part( remember to the riaa buying used is just as good as stealing,but they allready LOST that battle). The only "new" cd's i've bought in the last 12 months are Dropkick Murphy's "blackout" a few Anti Flag albums and Sick Of It All "live in a dive" and "life on the ropes"
True,true but at least if were kept within the hospital and sanatized daily it would alleviate the danger....its a little much to ask to sanatize between patients..it just would't be practiceable unless you were in an infectious ward!
to me the point is that cell phones are used in non controlled, non-sterile enviroments. if the pager was a doctors personal one it would cause the same problem. you'd have to have "hospital only" units kept at work and sanitised daily to be safe(r).

How did I skirt the issues? We loose more manufacturing jobs every day. At this rate we will have service sector jobs outnumbering manufacuring jobs in our economy. Actualy they might be forced to mention the name "silly putty" with a tm or R mark after it, but unless they can prove the recipe was stolen that would't have a leg to stand on. Any how any protection they would have on the recipe should have expired by now and I have seen "generic" puttys on the market. some are really bad(stick to anything except comics and stain fabric) and some like "smart mass" rock!
About 3 years ago I informed a local newspaper(berkshire eagle) that I wanted to be removed from ALL their telemarketing lists. after a few calls bitching to management(they call at 8:00 in the morning to 10:00 at night for christs sake)The calls stopped. A few years later MA passed a do not call registry and we didnt add our address right away. Well allmost to the day the law went into effect guess what happened....YEP I started getting calls again. When I called to get removed I was told "get on the registry,thats what its for" SLAM...yep the bastard hung up on me. Now to get revenge the last time a sister paper called(owned by the same company) I had the guy on the line for about 30 minuites, and ended the call telling the guy"I guess after 30 miuites you thought I was going to buy papers, no papers for me sucker" SLAM
your answer to my last post proves my point...even "pros" make misteaks so what good would licenceing us do except make money for some state agency and "we the people" can't hide behind some well Lawyered company!
Not bullshit. During the first gulf war Japan initialy refused to sell key electronic componets for the patriot missle system. We "COULD" have made it but the figures were 2 to 3 years(approx) before the componet to go into production(remember the 10 year rule for peace time to war footing gear ups), and this is just the one that was most recent that I wouldn't have to do research on. I love it when die hard neo-cons anwer my posts because they allways say the same things....mumble, mumble Americas number one...mumble,mumble Leading exporter..la.la,la Tell that to all the people out of work in manufacturing! Remembers those export figures include goods made by "american based" companies overseas!
