Well, after over-clocking my AMD 1800+ to the point that the BIOS thinks it's a 2200+, and installing four hard-drives, two video cards, and cool neon-lights, I ended up stripping the case covers and leaving only the metallic skeleton holding the parts together.
I then proceeded to plop two big-ass fucking fans on both sides of the box to manage the cooling. The little dinky CPU fan couldn't handle the processor, so I had to do it.
What... So I don't have enough cash to dish out for one of those fancy-mangled "water cooling systems" or "liquid nitrogen". But hell, It Just Works.
Is Microsoft trying to compete with open source projects like PXES or ThinStation?
I'm reading on Brian Madden's Thin Client Web that Microsoft is about to release (don't know exactly when) two new versions of Windows XP targeting the thin-client market
I think the scope of that includes anything that isn't music either. And you could download off of local servers too. You wouldn't be breaking the law, although they would.
Keep up with the news man. It already is legal to download music in Canada. You just can't upload anything. So just make sure to download your stuff off of foreign servers and you're in the clear.
A reasonable tariff is zero. By your logic, they should go ahead and put me in prison for owning a gun "capable" of killing someone. Why does your country accept this idea of punishing everyone evenly for possible illegal use of something that is generally used for legal things? How come copiers aren't taxed? And who gets that tariff money?
You forgot the obligatory, "Why do you hate Freedom!?"
FUCK! I just made a pretty useless post several layers down. And now I wish I didn't just so that I could mod this up. Specially after reading Generation of Swine, I'm really up for that kind of humour.
...the government is looking for a sugar daddy to cover for all the wasted sponsorship money and what-not.
All I see is increases in taxes here, prices going psycho there. I just saw gas go over a fucking dollar/litre! ONE FUCKING DOLLAR! This jumping from about.65 -.70 last summer.
I know I'm kind of off-topic, but c'mon. In London, the city recently chipped in a substantial amount of money to pay for The John Labatt Centre. They wanted to raise taxes in order to cover the expense. There was no vote, I didn't agree to this. People will have to fight this. I don't want to sound sensationalist, but this is just fucking ridiculous. We got them to just raise ticket prices instead of taxes.:)
Notice Etics last? I wonder how many will ADHD out & use their skills for evil before completing the course.
Actually, the very first (well, second) paragraph you read on the first page of the introduction in the first lesson reads:
While there is a thrill to hacking partly because of the illegal nature of computer trespass, we
want to show you that it is just as big a thrill to alert others about lapses in security and make
them public without worrying about going to jail over it. As a citizen of most countries, it is not
only your right, but your responsibility, to report security and privacy leaks to the proper
authorities. You do this not because you can, but because many other people can't. You
are helping those who can't help themselves. This is what watchdog groups do. This is what
you will learn to do.
Maybe they should switch to more less-expensive fuel. You never know though, this might actually turn the ghetto into a legitimate buisness. God bless those entrepreneurs.;-)
Likewise, I doubt that any cleaning procedure will be able to keep every bit of dust from getting into areas where people will be taking those nice, deep, contaminated breaths.
If you leave your suit in a safe place, and hose it down before taking it off, I doubt you'll have much dust floating around for you to breathe in. On top of that, It's not like the little dust that would be in the air is any worse than all the shit we already inhale here on Earth. Contamination.
You know, "Wine Is Not An Emulator" WINE? Copy over a few of the files off an old Windows 98 CD + some fonts 'n' libraries and you can be playing "World of Warcraft", "Half-Life 2", "GTA: San Andreas", or whatever else you'd like. And if that fails, just get Cedega for $5. They're for linux, but they work just as well on a Mac. I know, I've tried.
Sprite through the nose... ahaha...
/me Wishes he could mod you up.
It's hillarious, words cannot describe the pain of laughter I recieve from seeing such a professionally made website describing "leet speak"... and being so incredibly serious about it.:-D
I learn't basic Japanese with this site. Enough to start reading online dictionaries and forums. Combined with countless hours of anime...;-) I'm about ready for my trip to Japan next year to see how it all paid off.
In conclusion, there's more than a few references for any language online, learn the basics, then start from the ground up in "Real Life"(tm). Like a kid that's learning his first tongue. Only other advice I can give is to learn the language on its own, use the basics of the language as a catapult to learn the rest with sites that use that actual language and if you don't know the meaning, use a dictionary (don't translate, just define). If you try to learn a language by becoming a walking babel-fish... you'll sound like it when having a conversation. And that ain't a good thing. You get the whole immigrant accent going on. My parents have that...:-\
Oh, I thought... you know what, nevermind.

... You can download, but not upload. It makes a world of difference if the RIAA ever comes after you.

No, the one in the auction has the entire magazine, including covers, etc. The PDF on intel's site is just his article.
You never know though, this might actually turn the ghetto into a legitimate buisness. God bless those entrepreneurs.
Dunno, just a thought.
Nope, we're too busy speaching.
Didn't you RTFA? It clearly says:

Hey, I like karma too.
ahhaahahaahahhahahahhahahha...
:) For the love of God! Do it!
You just made my day. People, please mod him funny.
Again, dunno. Maybe I'm wrong. Comments?
I can't, because "WINE IS NOT AN EMULATOR". *sigh*.
Here, Have a cookie and fuck off. I hate these karma-whoaring trolls.
Before anyone replies, Yes, I know WoW was already ported to OS X. It just slipped my mind and remembered right as I hit "Submit".
