I felt excited when reading the headline. I thought... wow, he must be the happiest man on earth.
Later on much less exciting when "golf course" is mentioned.
After I realized what is it all about, I'm not going to RTFA.
I don't mind using NAT if it everthing works properly (Yahoo/MSN Voice chat comes to mind).
I am so grateful that I can just use more IP addresses when I need more. In this room alone there are 3 computers with 4 IPs and when VMWare is up, there are more of course:-)
Actually many... Nerds use Hotmail for junk email accounts, like when they want to download something that needs registering first but don't want to receive the newsletter junks.
The reason we spend so much is BECAUSE the rest of the world spends so little. This might be considered a good thing. Do we really want another Germany or Japan giving us a run for our money?
So little? Maybe the other countries are more interested on spending money on other things. In Europe for example, just like what Michael Moore said, "Politicians talk funny there". We hear from them about things like welfare or health plan more than WMDs.
