    I guess there are two ways the right to privacy applies i was not aware that was the basis for the ruling against sodomy laws.

    Possessing almost any significant quantity of pot (btw i do not use pot) counts as intent to distribute. without requiring any evidence that distribution actually occured

    laser printers just consume too much juice for any UPC lacking a nuclear reactor. My clock/radio goes nuts when i try to power it off a UPS, not only lost the time the display flickered random lights but somehow it wasn't damaged.

    the constitutional right to privacy only applies to abortion

    if you want to grow a plant in your basement then burn that plant without ever leaving your property you have not only engaged in commercial activity, you have engaged in interstate commercial activity. because of this the Federal government will put you in jail.

    no the picutes would not be censored by the state, however the government would likely not allow photographers to take the photo in the first place.

    the government here does not (usually) attempt to stop discussion or dissemination of information already outside it's control

    I was wondering the same thing... perhapse limewire could patent "a system for checking licenses automatically before allowing the copying of a file" and kill TCPA for 20 years?

    when i replaced my dying nokia 5185 i spent quite a bit of time looking for a phone without all the extra crap on it. the nokia 1100 is good if you can use GSM phones. inexpensive at $70 unsubsidized and it uses the old 4 key nokia interface (up, down, action, cancel)

    you can do a blank search with -label:foo -label:bar etc. to search all your mail except that which is labeled

    Actually you CAN filter out all labeled email by searching your mail with no terms and subtracting each of your labels

    -label:forums -label:inbox

    it's a little awkward because you need to write -lable:foo for each label you have but it can be done

    actually profiling doesn't work so well, once the criminals and terrorists figure out the profile they can manipulate their travels to be off the profile and thus have alower chance of being searched than if checks were systematic/random

    well a radio operated bomb (or a fake radio operated bomb) will take care of the dye packets, make sure the teller knows that if any dye packets go off or anyone runs out of the building while you are still in sight the building will be ripped apart by shrapnel... they won't put the dye packets in.

    not that i would know anything about robbing banks
