    locally made quality products won't have trans fat anyways, it's mass market agrishit that is chock full of the stuff. the amount of products which are not shipped across state lines and also do contain trans fats is approximately zero

    if you have any lethal food allergy you should not ever eat restaurant food.

    high end restaurants have high pressure environment(and thus error prone)

    fast food and diners tend to have a DGAF environment (and thus error prone)

    stop using email for mailing list subscriptions entirely, this would be more appropriately handled through RSS. however that would require actual opt-in instead of "we got you to click on yes so you are opted in"

    done this way custom code will be full of stop codons and custom ribosomes wil not stop one of the stop codons, sounds to me like this would be an safety improvement over current copypasta techniques since the compiler and the code are not compatible with natural code and natural compilers

    the difference is these latch on, so if the milk gets too warm then cools off again it still warns you. still a lot more expensive than a mk. 1 nose for now, but the labor costs of opening and smelling all the milk will be rather high

    By keeping workers as serfs to their and their children's medical needs the capitalists have kept wages down and mobility on their side, even during the tech boom, how much knowledge and experience was kept in billion dollar corporate hands instead of joining a startup or founding a company not due to free choice but rather the need to make sure little timmy got his braces and little Susie got her insulin pump.

    job security is already a goner, pensions are an endangered species in the private sector and the oblong box in the corner of the room keeps the people mystified and jealous of public workers who hung on to their pensions and insurance instead of being pissed that theirs were stolen to buy another private island for the CEO.
