    how the hell can they not afford a radio tagger? this isn't expensive technology. label grade RFID tags are like $.15 and even if cow grade is more, what's $5 added to the cost of raising a whole friggin cow?

    survive crash tests and still be recoverable? how much you wanna bet some convenient misfortune befalls developers before they can gut the current auto industry. because that is what they are on track to do. for not too much more money you could even get the "inflation" done with a rigid foam instead of just air for people too freaked out by a car being nothing but air and composite.

    considering that the GOP takes pride in attacking and undermining Highschool Science education and scorning college education as being for the "ivory tower elite" it's not unreasonable to characterize them as being under-educated. their appeal towards religious conservatives is also quite undeniable.

    given that, i am not sure what's gotten your panties in a bunch. It's not like a called them unpatriotic or traitors.

    if the exact font or font size being rendered (or the presence or absence of cleartype) is going to break your design, the design is already hopelessly broken.

    I have never had an issue with even large variance in what font/ size is used because the design should be flexible and resilient. if everything is so interdependent and fragile you should be looking at your overall structure, not trying to work around minor quirks on different platforms.

    yes they can. about the only time they cannot is when you are clearly the subject of the image AND it is for commercial promotion. that is to say your likeness cannot be used to endorse a product, service, or cause without your consent.

    connecting to a computer in a state you have never been in does not obligate you to follow the laws of that state, to argue otherwise is insane.

    media sentry does not require a license to be a PI in their home state.

    the problem with your model is that it assumes infinite and untraceable access. the more iterations you have, the harder it is to spot a pattern of inconsistency but the higher the chance of being discovered in the act.

    Safari and chrome use the same rendering engine, in addition the functioning of firefox, chrome, and safari shouldn't differ on xp, vista and OSX. also Vista comes with IE 7 not 6, and IE 7 shouldn't be different on XP and vista so your 23 tests could reasonably be trimmed down to XP with IE 6, Vista with IE 7 then firefox and safari on OSX

    I just saved you a lot of time turning your 23 tests into 4 tests. if you want to you could even cut vista out of your web tests by doing IE 6 and IE 7 in XP but IE doesn't coexist with other versions of itself so you don't save much except the cost of a vista license.

    if by snoop you mean connect to a program that the user willfully loaded and interact with that program in it's normal manner of operation then yes people can do that.

    assuming otherwise is as silly as the "if you are a cop you are not allowed to enter this site" disclaimers that used to be all over the internet

    So the issue is that a new model has been released and only people who are eligible for a new phone can get it at a discount? Apple never should have caved on the iphone price change retroactivity, now they can't improve anything without the existing users demanding free upgrades for life.

    here in the US i paid verizon $100 to send a tech out to my apartment and drop a brand new phone line from the pole to my room. and nobody has ever accused verizon of being a discount rate telephone company.
