    I HATE crunchy bacon. Went to a friend's house and the difference in how he prepared the bacon, and how I prepared it was striking. I hang my bacon on a kind of "tray" and then nuke it in the microwave so the fat drips off. He threw a bunch of bacon in a pan and let it fry it its own juices.

    What came out was so fatty I almost threw up. Yuck.

    You can prepare it the way he did, as long as you drip the fat out about half way through frying it. It also helps to have some high quality bacon.

    No, that's not true. The "Other OS" feature runs through a hypervisor which limits full access to the cell processor and restricts access to the GPU.

    That kind of fragmentation is what ruined OpenGL to begin with. DirectX sets a standard and it's nice for programmers to be able to target a standard.

    There is a significant difference in architecture between the two units. If all you are doing is integer operations, then the Radeon will be faster indeed since it contains more execution units.

    No, I wouldn't compare this to the 5xxx at all. Especially considering the Nvidia cards whoop the Radeons in tessellation and geometry operations.

    Not to mention the overwhelming lead Nvidia has with GPGPU currently.

    I had a phone when I was 14, I used it all the time. Granted it was a brick of a phone at the time, it was very valuable for getting in touch with friends and family.

    News Flash some kids don't go home right after school, some go to their friends, or go out in the city/town. Some might even stay late for extracurriculars or studying!

    It's not your business to tell them what they should/shouldn't have.

    Your point is flawed. The Kent state incident is NOT banned on Youtube or anywhere in the web. The government also is not on a mission to track down people who have affiliations with students at the Kent state incident. Not to mention when something like that happens in the USA, the country and government officials are deeply embarrassed by such events which are wildly publicized.

    Don't be silly. The Chinese actually have a very advanced manufacturing sector. There is nothing inherently wrong with Chinese products, only in the level of quality western companies are usually willing to pay for.

    The real problem is the huge discrepancy in currency and living wages between the USA and China.

    I don't know to be honest, but 95% of the PC games I've purchased in the past 3 years have been via steam or some other digital distribution source.

    Pro starcraft players have 200+ APM.

    There are actually quite a few popular PC games besides the Sims and WoW. Most of them are sold via digital distribution however.

    I predict Starcraft II will see a large resurgence in PC gaming, mainly because the game is awesome (In Beta!)

    In regards to your example, it is possible to deduce that, yes I will get punched in the face when I visit you. However, it is not possible from those statistics alone to reason why you punched me. Was it because I smell really badly? Or maybe you don't like the clothes that I wear? Maybe I just disagreed with you one too many times on slashdot?

    Well, you don't really need to know what it is, just what it's effects are.

    Humans are great at pattern making, all they need to do is notice that when a girl has sex with multiple partners she becomes dreadfully sick along with her child.

    Again though, just a theory, nothing concrete.
