    I will not buy from these places. I have no problem with paying for music, it's that I don't want DRM. If any of these places where to sell me music without drm, I would buy it.

    With that stability comes ancient components. Linux 2.2 came out how long ago? Even "Unstable" uses XFree86 4.2.1. I love debian and have been using it on my server. Hasn't crashed yet, but it too ancient for a desktop.

    Very, very true. When in mandrake 9.2, if I try to logout, instead of going to mdkkdm, it logs me back in imeditatly. The only way to shutdown was the command halt. So I installed fedora core 1 and I've been happy since. I do home that mandrake 10 is stable. Life without urpmi is very, very misirable.

    That's because the only reason they are succsesful is because they have a bigger adverising bdget than an r&d budget. The majority have consumers have heard their name, so they buy it. Dell and aol are perfect examples. Crappy products that sell well.
