Exactly. Same reason that there is a music download service called napster. Brands are worth something as long as you don't plaster it on some crap product.
I'm sure that a few people are using them. It seems like on rapid transit, most of the riders with attached earbuds are plugged into either a tiny flash based player or their cell phone. HDs are mostly for a niche that has a really large music collection.
Bah, that's a lot of FUD, it doesn't directly cause any of those things. Over consumption of sugars in general causes those things, it's just a little bit easier with the high fructose corn syrup.
I'm trying to figure out the logic of how something being analogous to another compound makes it's effects indirect. It's kind of like saying that heroin isn't a direct cause of addiction because morphine is just as addictive.
Ironically, (at least in the US) Most soft drinks and other "sugary" foods don't actually have any sugar in them. Instead they use a far more dangerous substance, High Fructose Corn Syrup, or HFCS.
Huh, what? HFCS is like 45:55 glucose to fructose. Both are sugars.
Well if an Australian where to hop on a plane to Toronto, then yes they could get 4G. This probably only matters to a small percentage of Australians, but you can't say, "but it doesn't work, and never will."
Some distros purposefully exclude software that is covered by a patent. Users of Fedora or openSUSE have to go to a third party repo if they want to play MP3s or DVDs. Canonical and Debian maintain non-US repos for those in countries where software can't be patented. The small players tend to ignore this stuff, but there are so many of them that the legal fees of going after them would be staggering.
This is also a good reason to compress your media with free codecs, less mess with patents.
Well this is not a new model. This is just a die shrinkage. Maybe Samsung wanted to shut down it's 45nm fab to make way for an even more advanced fab?
But yes, this is in line with what apple has done with the iPhone. The previous model is sold as the bargain model. I wouldn't call it a different line. After the 4th generation iPod comes out, the 3rd generation iPad will take it's place as the value tablet.
Has anyone conducted any prospective studies on these athletes? (Like to see what kind of personality they have before getting involved in sports and seeing how it changes after a few bumps to their noggin.)
Could being in the public spotlight cause these types of behavioral problems? I'm not doubting that neurological damage can cause psychological problems, I remember that enlarged ventricles are associated with schizophrenia.
After a few hours of Napalm Death or Cannibal Corpse, you probably would have bought me a pair of headphones yourself.
As opposed to minutes if you where playing Katy Perry or Lady Gaga.

I could just decrypt the books purchased from B&N and put them on a thumb drive. No need to worry about if B&N is around in 20 years.

So somebody is still making them. Does that prove anything?
Except this time it's actually happening. When is that last time you saw someone using an mp3 player with a spinning disc?
Laptops value capacity over anything else because that's the easiest to market.
If Martha Stewart was a psychopath.
God forbid someone owns a camera and wishes to create their own content.!
The joke was that Australia is upside down because it lies south of the equator.
Uh, here your supposed to wait until after getting elected to start your misdemeanor spree. I guess you guys live in upsidedown land.
Fine if your trying to make garbage out the same thing as garbage in, then maybe you should try:
$garbageOut = $garbageIn;

Um no. He was writing to a file named output.
No, he said that there was no way those purchasing the device will never ever be able to connect to a 4G network. Which is simply untrue.

Maybe it's because that's what they sell at best buy?
I remember babelfish was blocked on my HS's computers. Not so fun when I wanted to read a page in another language.
Hence lying about a degree disqualifies you as a member of decent society, must get you ass fired and your career to be over.
Being a decent member of society is not a prerequisite to being a CEO.

Mmm, bleu cheese.
