If they miniaturize it and connect it to a battery and a computer it could behave as the back to the future hoverboard. It could also mean drones without without a wind propeller.
... or maybe you feel like you have heard such predictions all your life, but unless you provide links to said past predictions (each one eleven years apart), then it is only that, a lingering feeling.

Really, even CNN has adopted html5 for showing their videos on their website and the site made supposedly for geeks still requires an outdated api, preposterous I say.
It would be nice if such a wrapper for Glide was made part of the Gallium3D implementation. It would be even better if they used OpenGL 3/4 (to keep the level of emulation to a minimum since from what I have heard, modern video drivers emulate OpenGL 1/2) since nowadays most people have (at least) DX10/OpenGL 3 capable video cards.
It would be nice if support for Glide 2.1 and 3.0 be added also, there is a good chunk of oldies that would benefit and nowadays wine has dosbox built in, so even DOS games would be supported.
This comment "A negative mass chasing a positive mass accelerates forever..." made me think, what if positive and negative mass were created equally at the start of our universe, they started chasing each other and THAT is what creates time?
Nobody seems to comment on the obvious, the gene helps fight famine! Nowadays in developed countries this might not seem like a feature, but for the early cro magnon, having too much muscle when there was little to eat might have been the only reason they could emigrate all over the world while the bigger (and stronger) gorillas never left africa and never attained massive population growth.
Unless they are Muslim or come from a war thorn part of the world. Unless Trump flip-flops, again.
They will fill the warehouses with nitrogen to prevent fire hazards and theft from cockroaches, rats and those pesky humans.
As soon as they substitute all the employees at their warehouses we will introduce a limited time only Soylent Green brand.

What, no robotic arm so I can pull what I want from the inside like in a ufo catcher machine?
are you the oil and gas industry? If so, no, you can't keep your money, miser.

For less than $35 USD I get 6 mbps over here (and long distance calls are always paid as local) and I live in Mexico, a third world country.
Does anybody knows if exosomes would be removed from the blood stream if the "biospleen" is used? http://www.nature.com/news/art...
If I understand correctly then later on a wrapper for Directx 7/8 could be written on top of the directx 9 API in Gallium3D?
But if we get a glide warpper at the video card driver level, then Windows (and not only DOS) games can run with glide support.

Now if this also applied to roms bought on the sony, nintendo or xbox store, then I would be a happy camper.
No doubt the NSA owns at least half of them.

If you can compress space to achieve warp speed, you can then also compress space to create waves in the vacuum.
The degree is corruption makes a world of difference (say, third world class difference).
Then this new substance could be used to warm up the martian atmosphere :)
It was http://news.cnet.com/The-Compex-Sport-Shock-therapy-for-workout-warriors/2100-1041_3-6226516.htmlall the rage forty years ago, albeit the zapping was not done in the brain directly, but Bruce Lee did it quite frequently.
It is chibi, but further experiments are required to determine if it is kawaii
