  4. size on Quarter-sized CD's? · · Score: 1

Why is it important to create data storage alternatives that are this small? It seems more like a pain than......anything good. Cd's hold more anyways, and are easier to move with your physical hands. Quarter size is too small....

  7. Alien existence on Civil Rights For Aliens? · · Score: 1

Might there already be supernatural life from another planet existing on earth? Could this explain the plethora of phenomena that occur daily? Might supernatural beings be invisible to the human eye? Sort of like.....spirits and mysterious forces? Maybe other life attends to the earth in other dimensions, which humans have no accessed yet. Or have we?

  8. Re:Wow on Civil Rights For Aliens? · · Score: 1

How can you know that supernatural beings could not arrive tomorrow? How do you know that aliens are only one hundred or one thousand years away from coming to earth? It sounds like you are basing their arrival on the evolution of humans (since we have not come very far and don't fly in hover cars yet).

Also, how do you know that the being would not be human? Is it so unbelievable and impossible that creatures like us could be living in another galaxy? Please respond.

I am so happy that cartilage can be manufactured. This has seriously brought me much happiness tonight. I shall tell my family.

How would a bunch of searches for "sweatshop" end up leading to Nike's website?

  13. Reading the emails, visiting site on Nike: Just Don't Do It · · Score: 2

After finishing upon reading Mr. Peretti's emails to Nike, I decided to pursue the same mission. Upon arriving Nike's website, it was easy to navigate to the build your own shoe section. I customized my running shoe and was ready to enter "sweatshop" in the iD box. "Sweatshop" was immediately rejected on the website. It didn't take a series of emails like it did for Mr. Peretti. Since the incident Nike came across with Mr. Peretti, Nike has limited the character limit to 8. Notice, "sweatshop" is 9 characters and would not even fit. I then entered the word "swetshop" and it was declined! I was very surprised. The word was even mispelled. To make sure it wasn't a bug, i entered "swetposh" and it accepted the iD. I find this behavior very peculiar. Nike must be really embarassed over the amount of sweatshops it owns. They will do anything to protect their Evil Empire!

  14. Floppy technology on Forget SuperDisks -- Try 32MB On A Floppy · · Score: 1

In my opinion, I do not see how a new floppy drive technology can survive. Who needs 32mb on a floppy anyways? All you use floppies for are for boot disks. Most people store their other stuff on their 650mb cd-rw's. I feel sorry for the company who wasted time and money in researching floppy technology.
