I would program just as much. But it would be all fun projects.
Some would be useful like maybe contributing to Ruby/Rails projects. Others, would be for total fun.
I would start my own gaming company but would focus on dead platforms (dead being a relative term). I would contract out art and music and code games for the Commodore 64, Amiga, Atari 8/16bit, etc. I wouldn't care if I made a profit or not.
I would then give the games away for free via disk images. Some games would be released on cart or disk at my expense.
That would rock.
Oh God...please...no...please!
NASA, please keep "hip hop" or any other "let's appeal to the kids today" gimmicks out of science.
I love Duran Duran but that doesn't mean I want them to sing about math.
Amen brother!
I vowed to never sell on eBay again. I sold a $29.95 motherboard and eBay took about $4 and PayPal took about $0.50. Really eats into the "profit". Even after I charged $14.95 to ship it, the box/tape cost $4 and postage was $9.
I will never sell on eBay again.
My only problem now is where to find Commodore/Atari stuff. But even that's starting to suck on eBay.
With that monster, you could do one of the following:
1) Fire up 34-35 Mongrel instances
2) Launch NetBeans in under 4 minutes
3) Get 45 FPS on the latest FPS
4) Balance Bill Gates' checkbook
BTW, at $45B, Gates could buy over 200 of these...and then network them.
Seriously, great photo.
I can't wait to see what they find at the PLANET Pluto.

I say good for Wikipedia. It's about damn time someone (or some company) didn't bend over and take China's orders. THEY are the ones that censor...not us (being USA that is).
Got to love that First Amendment we have. USA! USA!
It was sort of a "see if I could do it".

I am so sorry that MGM/Comcast charges so much money for their shitty service/products that I am forced to steal it.
So, out of great respect for the millionaires in Hollywood who still seem to be making money from MGM, I will end this apology with a quote:
"Fuck you, and the horse you rode in on."

Can't belive noone mentioned this one...well, I didn't see it anyway.
I have VNC installed on all of our computers so that I don't have to drive out to our remote branches (across different states).
You can setup VNC so that when you log in, the person won't know it. Sit there for a while and watch what they do...then, ever so often, move the mouse. While they are typing, press random keys. When they call you, tell them you will check into it. This is really funny when the person is thousands of miles away connected via VPN.
hehe

Because the "Little Old Granny" wouldn't have a clue that she was being throttled.
Blocking is a good idea. However, the blocked message should be something like "We have detected your machine has a virus. Please CALL Comcast at..."
Then, the customer support person could help out.

I like the part where they basically said "why would you buy our software when you can get the same thing for free?"
FVCKING A.
Why buy SCO when Linux (or my fav, FreeBSD) will do the same job better and cheaper. Sounds like they are saying "It's not fair...we are loosing money and we can't underbid FREE software"
lol

DWI means "Driving While Influenced" or something like that.
I think this is a stupid idea. 30 seconds to start your car? What is an axe murderor is after me?
Also, if I've had 4 beers and I successfully start this car then I should be immune from DUI tests.
lol

You don't add all of that together. If you did, you would have about 3 full telescopes and another 16" mirror for a 4th. Plus, you would have mirror making equipment. It is quite possible to build that 18" scope you see for probably $1100 to $1500. With about 90% of the cost always being the mirror (pre-made).
to be the first to stand in that elevator...and press all the buttons so that the next guy will have to stop at every port before the 60,000 mile trip is over.

I built a flux capacitor when I was in high school, attached it to my Ford Pinto, and went back to November 5th, 1955. It was there that I met my parents.

1993 to Al, the Internet just called.... Er, so record a song, release the song for download for a price. Yeah, it took 2008 technology for that.
