Just so you know the police are always armed in the US. They are not showing up armed just because of the protest. It would be very rare for any law enforcement agent in the US to not be armed. That all said the police tend to riot every chance they get in the US. The exception to this would be in San Fransisco Ca and Washington DC. You really have to step on your personal parts to get the cops beating on you in those places.
