"Christ, they couldn't get enough young people out to vote for the heinous George Bush last year."

Just to set the reconrd straight, there was a huge turnout of "new voters" in the last election. But the other issue was the large turnout of Religious Right voters as well. Thus making the influcence of young voters far less noticable.

Just had to get my 2 cents in there...

Someone please correct me if I'm wrong here, but I was under the impression that google ranks its search results based on popularity not $$. So Louie V can't buy their way to the top of the search results (Except for placed ads).

Under this impression I find it hard to believe that they could consider the results of a search to be considered part of their "product placement". That is like saying two billboards that are across the street from each other with competing brands is illegal.

I completely agree. Telling ads apart from search results is easy, and I have no idea how ANYONE could have trouble with it.

On the search results page there are ads on a blue section, that clearly have the label "Sponsored Links" and then there are ads to the right of the search results which are also clearly labeled "Sponsored Links". How much clearer can they get?

I've used IE twice since I installed windows on this machine. Once to DL firefox, and a second time to get SP2.

Between just those two website, the 3rd time I tried to run IE I already had a browser hijacker and a slew of junk added to my IE favorites.

So either you're one lucky, lucky man...or your an M$ fanboy.

I used 2.x for the longest time, and I don't know how anyone could find the UI confusing. Unless you have the same confusion when using all other standard Windows toolbars/UI's. The layout is clean, simple, and straight forward. If the default UI is honestly that much of a problem there are 1,000s of different skins you can get for it (For free) as well as a couple variations of the orignal skin already included (thin mode, tabbed mode, default mode).
