To clarify: It was to my knowledge (and I do not have a doctorate in Quantum physics) that a qubit has the states of 0) 1) and `0) `1) (where ` is a 45 phase shift in Hilbert space). I know this has something to do with Quantum Encryption as well. google brought this: http://physicsweb.org/articles/world/11/3/9 If I am understanding this wrong, please correct me :).

Why couldn't Google go with a CPM (cost per thousand) campaign instead? This would limit the "hackers" (as the article labels them) a bit... Because if I do recall, doesn't AdSense rotate ads when there is not enough space to display them all in its area? Wouldn't Google come out ahead in this two-fold?

Clearly you are exactly right on this point... From the FAQ:
    What about computer viruses?
A virus that is written for the Windows Operating System (Win98, 2000, XP) cannot infect the Macintosh Operating system.
Apparently they are relying on the fact of the lack of (not the 'inability to create') viruses for the Mac OS as their safe guard against this problem...

Besides, going off assumptions here, having only a single password to protect the End User from "themselves" is pretty inadequate.

I say instead of suing the students... sue the administrators (I guess Apple in this case) for not creating a reliable network. That would be a more valid case (breach of contract / negligence).

$10 per month is way too much to pay for any computer game.
Well this is what the world is coming to my friend... Monthly costs for entertainment is has been proven to be something customers are willing to endure... and the developers are showing that they will meet with demand: Microsoft making streaming games for its new system... Monthly fees for video/game renting services... etc etc. Either jump on board or get left at shore (no pun intended with the puzzle pirates theme). Also, with the advances of Ultra Wideband internet and IP Entertainment (IPTV), you're looking at a new era of marketing: Complete Streaming Virtual Media... at a monthly cost. Now as for it being to much, well... if it sells, then the public is ok with the price (i'm ok with it...), if it doesn't... then they will lower it :). Simple Economics. Also take into consideration that they have to pay for their connection for you to even PLAY their game... and the maintenance that goes along with that. Look at Blizzard.... they are selling the game on the shelf for ~$40 (well... they WERE selling them) and then hitting the customer with a ~$12 monthly charge... and they are doing quadruple of what they initially expected.
