But Spykids 2 becomes art when Steve Buscemi, as the mad scientist terrified to leave his compound because the island is crawling with monsters he created says the line "Do you suppose that's why God lives in the Heavens?     Well, at a financial company - a big one - I used to work for we were co-creating a payment security technology with Microsoft. We sent a copy of the version 0.1 spec (written by our people) to the people we were working with at MS, and a week later when we saw it it suddenly had Copyright Microsoft all over it...no other changes, just the copyright...

    It's about an 18 million dollar difference - 8%. And that is only counting the very largest contributors. Not that big a difference with the size of the numbers we are talking about here.

    There are also a ton of other pagan spring equinox festivals that have been blended into Easter. The biggest one is probably Attis, a pre-christian god who, oddly, was born of a virgin, died, and came back three days later. One-upping Christ though, he came back to life annually thereafter, rather than making his followers go through all of this tedious waiting for the apocolypse.

    Where I am we are implementing a formal governance process that takes requests for development and puts them through a formal approval process so that management can size and prioritise the projects before they get assigned to anyone. On the front end we have a custom web application that runs on top of a DB2 database. People can submit things, it handles notifying the chain of approvals about what they need to do, and tracks status. It's after that that we start to run into problems - giving business partners visibility into status once development has started is a real issue. Right now it looks like we are probably going to continue extending the web application we have now into the development life-cycle...
