This seems to me like the work of one mis-guided 'artist' they hired, rather than an entire team's effort to attempt to fool the entire world. I would guess this 'artist' found the work too time-consuming so he just started taking screenshots of other games and throwing them in there.
I highly doubt this was a concerted effort on the part of the entire team. It would be funny if it were though.
"Save up for just a little longer and buy something for at least $450 that runs Windows Vista..."
VISTA!?!? Vista is HORRIBLE. I'm one of the lucky few that had the smarts to downgrade back to XP.
I can't believe this writer still has a job.
That's because Jita has an entire node dedicated JUST to it. Even then, it still lags to hell.
Other systems share nodes, so when you get 400+ players in the system, it's unplayable.
Actually, $100US = $105.60Cdn
Or rather, $100Cdn = $94.71US
So if it's $100 more for the premium in Canada, that actually works out to $94.71 more (in US currency).
The $50 price drop should equal to be about $52.78 in Canada. This doesn't mean anything though of course, because prices in Canada are always way higher - it's not a direct exchange rate problem.

Nah I'm using XP and whatever most recent version of flash is.
I hate it when ads interfere with websites. If this wasn't/., I wouldn't be coming back.
I'll never understand why these "Top Multiplayer Games" lists keep leaving out DOOM. It is THE base for all future online FSP's. It boggles the mind why this game is continuously left out!
One thing I've learned in my career is that if you're not having fun at work, then you will eventually become stressed, irratable, and not enjoy your day. at all.
So, even though I'm a.NET junkie, I say go with the PERL job. You will have a better chance of becoming an important player in the company as it grows, and you will have a more enjoyable time, by the sounds of it.
Again - Fun is #1. Money, Fame, hot women - those are secondary.
Well, that's what I call myself.
Formally, I was a Phone Support Analyst (helpdesk), then a Client Support Analyst (desktop tech), and now I am a Business Information Systems Analyst (Codepoet:) - developing and maintaining applications using a variety of languages).
Throughout the entire career path with this organization (it's a large one - 7000+ employees), I have always had to do server maintanance - most notably in the SQL realm. So I am starting to think that SQL is fast becoming a generic skill to have (at the basic level anyways). There will always be DBA's, but a lot of the routine stuff can be handled competantly by regular I.T. staff I believe.
I just visited macromedia's site, and it seems Authorware7 is still alive and kicking!
Get that. Your students can build a really customizable script, and content editors can plunk in images, video, sound bites, text, etc.
Macromedia had an EXCELLENT product called Authorware. Unfortunately it has since been discontinued. It was basically a scriptable GUI with nodes, icones, and such. Easy to use, and once mastered, one could really create some amazing computer based training programs.
This stuff really irks me! It shows the accuser's lack of intelligence to blame a game that was sitting on the front seat. Honestly! I agree with the comment that if they found a F&F DVD, they wouldn't be blaming it. But, since it's a GAME it gets the pointy end of the stick! Rediculous. Now my day is ruined.
If they found:
A baseball bat - would they blame Major League Baseball?
A ferret - would they ban all ferrets?
A sock - would they think there is some sort of sock fetish going on that made them crash?...ya, stupid examples... but stupid examples for stupid people
Well, that's what I mean. A live, streaming NHL broadcast via satellite directly to my ipod. Now that's a technology I'd actually buy. Screw this downloading sh*t.
I thought this was only screenshots with a 3d character 'walking' around a 2.5d world...

You have a T2 Battleship? Wow, you must be either BoB or a dev, (or both) because afaik, those haven't been released on Tranquility yet.
Excellent. There is a facebook group for this as well. Do a group search for "Cellular Class Action"
12bil / 7500 = $1,600,000. minus lawyer fees.
Oh, I'd hate to be working at a Cdn cellphone callcentre right now...
So where do I sign up for this lawsuit? Or is it automatic because I'm a customer of Bell (previously Telus)?
And I don't care if they bump up the price of the normal plan. At least what's advertised will match what one is billed, for once.

That's pretty sad.... I have lost all faith.

Level 1-1. Can't beat it. And I'm horrified to see that Doom wasn't even mentioned until now. Young'ins sheesh.
The electoral college can choose to throw away your vote and choose someone for themselves, anyways.
Almost everyone in Canada owns a computer. We don't ALL live in igloos.

Canadians know how to give free sh*t away. Just look at our trees and water!
We use MAGIC HELPDESK here where I work. It's clunky, but it works. I would have designed it much differently.

I don't suppose LIVE events are possible? I'd like to watch hockey. In Canada. On my ipod. While travelling. Too much to ask?
