The people being hired are the guys from the community colleges that are sharply focused... they might be able to code Java well but that's all they can do. They are paid on that level, too... they (that is the H.R. heads) don't want to pay the people with the real knowledge, those that can learn on the fly because they have all the background to do it. It would cost too much.

I only have local choices to buy things like milk and gas and those prices are all similiar and regionally based. And, as you mentioned, I don't have global choice as to where I can live and work... I am limited by laws that protect the jobs of citizens (present in all countries but no longer enforced in the USA... face it). Then you have the corps that DO have all these choices... especially when it comes to labor and raw materials.
So the economy is split. You essentially have a lower and an upper class.

If he cared why not take some of that money and put it back. He could create a business or a charity, it doesn't matter. Just put some of the money back.
He knew MONTHS AGO that the movie wasn't going to be distributed by Disney. This wasn't any surprise... this country is more pro-corporate than any in history, Bush is the most braindead pro-corporate president there ever has been. Why would any corporate entity as big a Disney want to bite the hand that feeds it?
The whole "spat" was a brilliant way for Moore to cook up press for the movie. And it worked.
