Why do they have to make a huge spectacle that a man is moving from one place to another. This is not very important news and will not effect things at all. Stuff that matters. *rolls eyes*
Perhaps this could be a proof of Linux use in the consumer electronics market. If Sony continues to develop products with Linux integration, the market should follow. After all Sony has been an innovator in the past and this should be no different. If Linux were to become a big thing in Japan then it would also become a big thing in America.
I remember reading a true story in a book. It was about a man who was having problems with his cellphone [it had been disconnected]. When talking with the lady working tech support, the lady worked up the idea he was an 'arrogant bastard'. The call ended by normally but the next month the client recieved a bill with a $148 charge. The charge was for 'penalty for being an arrogant bastard.'
With Bluetooth I'm able to also connect to the internet on trips but I'm also now sending wallpapers, ringtones etc to my phone. Another favourite feature is the Address Book sync. Its such a paint to enter full Address Book entries on the phone so instead I enter on the comp. and sync it with my phone. Bluetooth ain't so bad:P
A faster Bluetooth. With my Sony Ericsson T616 speeds are laughable and slow and maybe now Bluetooth will finally be able to maximize its potential and actually start to compete with other wireless specs.
And the power consumption. A gift from the heavens. Bluetooth lowers my cellphones standby to about a 8 hours with no calls.
Even though I do not agree with FCC censorship it would be better if they were not a corrupt organization. Any attempts at 'censorship' and policing the airwaves are easily swayed with money. If ClearChannel really had commited the supposed crime of violating indecency rules then the FCC should've continued with charges rather than allowed themselves to be bought off. One of these days the FCC will have to go once they've become so corrupted they'll first ask for a settlement before trying to fine them.

Its so simple theres only one step:
1) !@#@$#%$#%^$^$^$
Isn't that great?
You good sir are an idiot. Do you know the temperatures up here? We have 31 degrees celsius (about 90 some farenheit) up here in the summer and -20 celsius in the winter. Contrary to popular belief our summers are longer than our winters and therefore it is not a barren wastleand.
If software patents were kept in place Linux developement taking place in Europe would basically stop. Are they trying to kill open source or something? I thought some countires in the EU were trying to adopt Linux and open source software not kill it.
So? What will happen once their licenses are revoked? SCO will shout at them and tell them to pay up for a new license. This is laughable. The SCO has no chance of getting them to renew their licenses! Its just a desperate last hope for a desperate company.
Wow this is just what I've been waiting! An animated Clone Wars! Lucas you genius you've done it again! I'm sure through watching 2-3 minute cartoons all the battles will be completed and the plot will be golden. I can't wait to watch the battles to see an animated Anakin Skywalker, because animated is so much better than CG and real live actors! Damn Lucas is a genius!
The reason Kazaa appealed to people was because it had FREE music. How many of their user base will stick to Kazaa once it's a pay service? I'm sure once Kazaa makes the change there will be an instant replacement for it.
Sherman Networks seems to think that users will just stick with Kazaa because they know its name and they don't want to switch because Kazaa is nice and familiar. Their buisness plan just isn't viable. For example if I wanted to download a song on Kazaa I would get more than 100 matches. I choose to download one and it turns out to be a hoax, but its too late. Its already been charged to my bill. If they want to have any hope at success then they need to switch from decentralised to centralised, but of course that would defeat the purpose. So then they would have to introduce a rating system so users could tell if it was a hoax, and they'd have to figure out a way to eliminate wrongly name songs.
I personally believe then that Kazaa's only choice is to stick to giving their adware-riddled software away for free.
If I recall correctly when Diamond Multimedia introduced their Rio MP3 Player, the RIAA sued them to stop sales. Then they dropped the suit in 1999(?). Anyways, I am pretty sure legality was an issue for the portable MP3 player, but dropping the suit was just telling people it's ok to produce them. I'm sure if Sony produced a device similar to the one mentioned in the article, the MPAA would probably and try and sue especially if you could 'rip' DVDs.
If the PS2's price drops, then xbox will be the only expensive console making xbox the apple (even though it's made by microsoft) of video game systems. that would probably hurt sales alot...
Oh yes I forgot. Me and my crew have to move out of here to be there on time ;)

Shows how good cell phone customer service is.
I'm using a G4 Powerbook running Mac OS 10.3.4 and using iSync. The Sync can take anywhere between two minutes to 5 minutes.
To clariffy what I meant it is not internet speeds. It is the speed of sync [i.e address book, emails, sending wallpapers and other content]

I expect that RSS will have many features added onto it. Google is known for its innovation, why would RSS be an exception to the rule?

Ultimate dodgeball.
Are you agreeing with me? I said around -20 in the winter and in case you haven't noticed it is the winter.
do you live in winnipeg?

Has this guy heard of the RIAA?

Hmmm...did you ever stop to think that Kazaa would communicate with the ISP? Its Kazaa charging you here not your damn ISP(they might take a royalty)!
