  1. Not a comparison at all. on PlayStation 2 Outselling Xbox 360 in U.S. · · Score: 5, Insightful

Hardly a far comparison when you look at price point. I would rather spend 129 then 600 any day for a system that is still a decent gaming system.

  2. Old systems here on Companies Keeping Systems Longer Than Ever · · Score: 1

We use p3-500's. They put in a terminal server that is fast and everyone connects to that. Its a good solution I guess and it saves money rather then upgrading all the systems in the room. Those with the cost of PC's today its not that expensive to upgrade.

  3. Mentioning the PMS involved. on Smart Hotel Rooms in New York City · · Score: 1

I wish they would mention the underlying systems that make all this possible. Mandarin was one of the toughest installs our company ever did and we built our system custom to a point fo rthem to run about 60% of the hotel, and then you have articles like this come out that don't mention the backend systems at all that make this possible. Eh Oh well. Most of the hotels mentioned by people in this use our PMS systems, and they are the backbone to all this and the innovation in them is what makes most of this possible.

Yeah but how long has IE been available in order to fix the majority of its flaws as opposed to Firefox which is relatively new. Also how long does it take for Microsoft to turn around a Fix as opposed to Mozilla?

I can see the lawsuits now from crazy nuts, my son/daughter was online and learned about religion and now I have to use my local goverment for providing them religion by providing free wifi. CHURCH AND STATE SHOULD BE SEPARATE, so the state has to block all the religous sites so my kids won't get that information from the government run wifi. Watch, you'll see some crazy nut try to pull this shit!

It was my understanding originally that OLED's where being promoted/created to help fight the power consumption. OLED was promoted to be used to replace light bulbs eventually becuase of the lower power consumption as well I believe. Even some Cells are starting to experiment with them.

  12. Have any of you been to vegas? on Las Vegas Monorail Finally Ready To Open · · Score: 5, Informative

The main purpose of this monorail is to create easier travel between the LVCA (convention center) and the strip. The conventnion center is a good distance away from the strip if you walk, this will make staying on the strip and traveling to the LVCA much easier. Plus most travelers will be business and be paying with business account more then likely. Others will be people who just need a quick way to get around. I'm sure day passes will eventually be released for this system. But its not always easy to get around between areas in vegas, even if it doesn't seem that far. While this is useless for locals its perfect for travelers who want to see different areas of vegas. Once this reachs out to Downtown this will provide much more bsuiness for that area that is hard to reach right now and that most people dont' want to pay the extra money to go and visit. sinc down town is a few miles away from the strip and is renovating also to become popular again this is a great thing for the las vegas economy.

But for the most part vegas gets most of its income now adays from CONVENTION TRAVELERS. Which means that making it easier to get back and fourth to the convention center is always a plus. The stations they have built for this system are really nice and will also help the business traveller
