    sounds to me like you should complain in the one way they actually take notice of. take your business to another bank, tell them you're closing your account because they've designed a shitty site which doesnt work in your OS (doenst matter if that last part is true or not, it lays fault entirely on them as you have no alternative)

    what the heck is a FOB? is thats just another name for a pendrive you'll probably get it mounted with

    mount /dev/sda1 /mnt/usb

    of course, you'll have to create the /mnt/usb folder, and depending on which usb port you plug into it could be /dev/sdb1 /dev/sdc1 etc. hope thats what you were after

    I call that a feature. I hate recieve emails from some moron who thinks yellow text on white backgrounds look funky. its an email, it should be plain text. you want formatting? make a website, email me that. ill probably trash it without looking though

    im curious to know the apparent strings you think gmail has. with the tiny amount of user info they collect (your name, thats all) i really doubt that there are any more strings than yahoo

    I trust google too. they only required me to give a first name, last name, password and desired username to sign up. they are not an intrustive PoS company that wants completely unnecassary details like certain others :D

    toasters have died, and have been replaced by functionally better toasters. please explain why people wouldnt swap to a replacement for email if it meant no more spam, worms and other crap?

    Note: dont bother attacking the feasability of such a replacement, thats not what I asked for. explain why if it existed, you wouldnt use it

    Im in the uk right now and im guessing the "change" didnt stick. i go into tesco and go to buy fruit but have NFI how much its going to cost cause all the prices are per lb. i refuse to learn a dated and outdated system of measures and will be glad to get back home to .au in a few months

    If there's one thing that bugs me about Mozilla it's that I can't make it open up clicked links (in email or other external sources) into new tabs in the existing Mozilla window.

    The original (I'm told the SP2 version is better) windows firewall does not protect people from any of the attack vectors I've seen coming through my network so far this year.
    how this guy got modded +5 informative I'll never understand. the whole post relies on this highlighted statement, which is entirely false. I'm don't particularly like MS but spreading anti-MS FUD is not better than MS spreading anti-linux FUD. if you enable the builtin firewall, you are at least as safe as though you were behind a NAT box, which is at least safe enough to patch your machine even on 56k.

    As an australian currently living in the UK I'd just like the point out that we are getting a better deal on petrol than a few places. Around here petrol goes for 80-90 pence per litre, approximately AU$2.10 per litre. once I get back I'm never going to look at petrol prices the same way I used to :P

    to be frank, ive never used the software in question. i dont even have a dvdr drive (yet). i just know that its software that shrinks dvds to fit on dvd-rs and that it cant be doing that on the fly
