    We will just pre-encrypt out messages such that when the government decrypts the stuff they get recipies or other boring junk. Then with our keys it gets translated into the REAL message :)

    1. I havent heard of any linux drivers for that card, so they didnt put all that much effort into them

    2. drivers are shoddy for all cards right now due to the pace of development

    3. if the core market is shit, its nice to know that some comapnies have the balls to try and make a transistion. the almighty buck is not the only thing in the universe. theres quake and sex too.

    no way dude, I put big bucks on the next 3dfx chip being some hard core cool stuff :)

    as for the Matrox, eh.

    Too many cards, too much pain for developers, too many games programmed for the lowest common denominator.

    I would almost tend to think that productivity will never go up in a competitive environment. Everyone is always going to work hard to stay alive, and everyone will make things of a certain quality/avancedness such that they only produce enough of it to serve the market. something like that, I'm pulling this out of my ass and doing a bad job of explaining, but I swear this all makes sense in my head :)

    I have less and less patience for people who just banter on saying the exact opposite of the hype regardless of what the truth actually is.

    truth? The home video camera, story, and plot of this movie combine to make it scary. Many people I know where VERY scared by this movie. So no matter how much mr pretentious goateed dork boy wants to say its not a good movie and its not scary, hes still wrong. I have scars from my GF fingernails to prove it.

    we were talking about some radar to see in homes, now your talking about car radar, then photo radar!

    personally, if a cop wants to sit outside my home and have some blip on a screen showing him where I am in my house, thats fine with me.

    I think the benefits of a tool like this far outweigh any privacy concerns.

    my guess is when the PS2 hits the streets, an Athlon 1000 coupled with an Nvidia NV10 based 3d card will do everything this bad boy will do :)

    supposedly the chip really is pretty weird, big, and nuts though. will be interesting for sure.
