We will just pre-encrypt out messages such that when the government decrypts the stuff they get recipies or other boring junk. Then with our keys it gets translated into the REAL message:)
1. I havent heard of any linux drivers for that card, so they didnt put all that much effort into them
2. drivers are shoddy for all cards right now due to the pace of development
3. if the core market is shit, its nice to know that some comapnies have the balls to try and make a transistion. the almighty buck is not the only thing in the universe. theres quake and sex too.
I would almost tend to think that productivity will never go up in a competitive environment. Everyone is always going to work hard to stay alive, and everyone will make things of a certain quality/avancedness such that they only produce enough of it to serve the market. something like that, I'm pulling this out of my ass and doing a bad job of explaining, but I swear this all makes sense in my head:)
I have less and less patience for people who just banter on saying the exact opposite of the hype regardless of what the truth actually is.
truth? The home video camera, story, and plot of this movie combine to make it scary. Many people I know where VERY scared by this movie. So no matter how much mr pretentious goateed dork boy wants to say its not a good movie and its not scary, hes still wrong. I have scars from my GF fingernails to prove it.
thus they shouldnt need a tax to finance the operation. The US government actually delievers normal US mail, but they dont do shit for email. So no, clearly it should not be taxed.
though the media may bias their reporting so as to have a certain effect towards the government (either on purpose or as side effect) I do no think our government significantly manipulates our media such as is the case with countries like China.
you must be on crack. our media loves shitting on our government.
The problem with journalists is that they are experts on journalism, and nothing else. so anytime theres a journalist writing about anything that isnt journalism, they probably dont know what the hell they are talking about.
took software for free that cost money to produce.
its stealing, the issue is people not thinking its stealing.
databases
big fat ones
dont need a ramdisk, just let the database eat it all up.
all messages will be encoded into Star Wars quotes based on a key...muhahahahah!

would be fun to make, think I'll go try!
old story.
but thats life anywhere, not just the games industry
sigh

intel forgot people use windows.
yeah.
and this somehow relates to them making video chips...yeah.
WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT WEIRDO!!!
no way dude, I put big bucks on the next 3dfx chip being some hard core cool stuff :)
as for the Matrox, eh.
Too many cards, too much pain for developers, too many games programmed for the lowest common denominator.
two competent companies, would fight each other driving performance up and price down...
but we wouldnt have all these Mofos with different cards totally screwing compatibility and stuff.
:)
are making cooler stuff and making it quicker.
:)

we were talking about some radar to see in homes, now your talking about car radar, then photo radar!
personally, if a cop wants to sit outside my home and have some blip on a screen showing him where I am in my house, thats fine with me.
I think the benefits of a tool like this far outweigh any privacy concerns.
they want to catch people who are speeding.
I cant see why you have a problem with that. The signs are pretty clear. 70MPH.
I think its a testament to police that they let you get away with 79 most places.
fewer of them will got shot up and die when getting the bad guys.
really, cops would rather eat donuts than use radar to mess with innocent peeps.
my guess is when the PS2 hits the streets, an Athlon 1000 coupled with an Nvidia NV10 based 3d card will do everything this bad boy will do :)
supposedly the chip really is pretty weird, big, and nuts though. will be interesting for sure.
"eh, weve had this in the BBC for years, this isnt news"
"I played with robots BEFORE they were cool, these are just posers"
"We did this in my preschool with blindfolds on"
SHUT UP!
fighting robots is cool.
it pisses me off enough looking at my own source.
I dont want other peoples sources in my face.
eeeeeeeeewwwwwwwww
:)
black holes are just really heavy chunks of stuff. there is no other side. You just eventually smack into a chunk of stuff.

That should be pretty clear here as we approach the year 2000. At least no god in the Xtian/Muslim/whatever sense.
This isn't something 'geeks' should be making excuses for.
I'm going to go get laid now, despite being a geek.
later
if you think evolution is ridiculous its for one of two reasons
1. You dont truly understand it because you have been misinformed or not researched it engouh.
2. Your dumb
its okay to be dumb, but at least know that can keep your mouth shut. If your number 1 please try harder.
